Curtis Granderson has decided to hang up his cleats. The Grandy Man was a triples machine in his early days with the Detroit Tigers. Upon arriving in New York, he discovered Yankee Stadium's short porch and turned in back-to-back 40 HR seasons. Granderson was an elite offensive player and defender in his prime. His accomplishments off the field stack up to his baseball prowess; Granderson has made significant contributions to several cities and communities he's been a part of. From donating $5 million to UIC's baseball program, to sponsoring programs to help inner-city youth, Granderson is quite the philanthropist. Grandy's four Marvin Miller Man of the Year awards and Roberto Clemente award were well earned. All this on today's episode.
