This modern rom com follows Peter Bretter (Jason Segal), who is a musician writing a Dracula Muppet musical (yes, you read that right) and is going through an unexpected breakup with his TV star girlfriend Sarah Marshall (Kristen Bell). To heal his broken heart, he books a flight to Hawaii to escape, only to find that his recent ex and her new rockstar boyfriend Aldous Snow (Russell Brand) are staying at the same hotel. Hilarity and humiliation ensue.
