Tips:

  1. Explain the gap, keep it short, be confident
  2. Keep it positive
  3. Provide productive things you did during the time off
  4. Networking
  5. Resume - try using years vs mm/yyyy format
  6. Don't dwell on the gap
  7. Be honest and transparent
  8. Prepare to discuss but don't focus on it
