The settlement came after months of discovery revealed damning text messages from Fox News hosts and top execs showing they did not believe the election fraud news they spread following former President Donald Trump's loss in the 2020 election. Brooke speaks with Jim Rutenberg, writer-at-large for The New York Times and its Sunday magazine, who was in the courtroom covering the trial, about what the case already had done to Fox News' reputation, Rupert Murdoch's playbook, and the impact the Murdoch media empire has had on culture and politics around the world.
