Mark 7:24-8:10 :: "Serving God"

Jesus cares for the marginalized, oppressed and those in need. Jesus’ example of sacrificial service is not simply to be praised or admired, but we are to serve God by serving others as Jesus does. Each of us was created to represent God and His kingdom to others (i.e. image bearers). Thus, we are to have attitudes and actions that represent Jesus to others. So, let’s consider Jesus’ example of serving so that we can serve God by serving others like Jesus does.
