Rob Buscher, Festival Director for Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival (PAAFF) and Area Chapter President for Japanese American Citizens League (JACL), sits in on the PHL Diversity podcast to discuss his work with both JACL, which is hosting its annual convention in Philadelphia this July, and PAAFF. In addition to discussing his instrumental role in bringing JACL to Philadelphia, Rob also gives us a look at the history of Japanese American Culture in Philadelphia, as well as the city’s growing Asian American populations and the cultural differences and experiences that are developing because of this growth.
