Although Davonte Brown is a Miami Hurricanes legacy, American Heritage cornerback Davonte Brown chose to sign with another in-state program on signing day. Brown  who is a 6-2, 180-pound Cornerback from Fort Lauderdale, FL picked UCF over Miami and Pittsburgh at a signing ceremony at American Heritage the first day of the college football Early Signing Period.
