My question is, I have a scroll saw I bought used, thinking I could incorporate its use in my pen hobby. Is it really a viable tool to have, or is there one that would be a better fit? I have watched videos but all seem to be “flat” shapes. I would like to make small stands or display boxes but haven’t figured out how with a scroll saw. I guess the bigger question would be what tools would be most useful in an extremely small shop primarily focused on small spindle turning. ...I think I may have Mike beat on shop size...my shop is limited to a cellar basement corner. Ceiling height is about 6.6ft. Floor space is right at 8ft by 10ft.
