If you are like most private practice surgeons, you didn't get much training on how to craft a working business plan.

On this episode, Dr. Sunil Bhoyrul joins me to talk about:

  • Why consultants are the real c-word
  • Having $60,000 per year embezzled from his practice
  • Why the surgeon must learn financials in order to grow

Dr. Sunil Bhoyrul is the Chief of Surgery at Olde Del Mar Surgical.

Dr. Bhoyrul completed his undergraduate and medical school at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. He then began his surgical training in London, England and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) of England in 1993. He was fellowship-trained in Advanced laparoscopic surgery at the University of California, San Francisco before completing his Surgical Residency at Stanford University Medical Center.
