It has been a year since the American Medical Association released new guidelines for Evaluation and Management (E&M) codes, revising and replacing guidelines issued back in 1995 and 1997. This episode reviews the impact of these changes, which are intended to make the codes more relevant in today’s practice and easier for documentation.
