The good Samaritan is possibly the least understood of all Christ's parables, dumbed down to a mere -do good- moralising fable. Yet Christ that He is the only good Samaritan. Despised by the Jews, He only can bind up our sin wounds and care for our souls. He tells us to see Him and go and do likewise.
