How can we know if someone is a Christian-- Whilst we look for evidence and fruit, ultimately what matters is -Do we love Christ-, do we have a personal attachment to Him. This was the question Christ asked Simon Peter. Being humbled him and grieved him at his own sin, Christ then graciously restored him.
