Sue Newton, Senior Business Development Director at Salo and former Minnesota Miss Basketball, discusses how the skills she acquired as a student athlete helped her throughout her career. Listen in as Sue shares her experience about the transition from student-athlete to head college basketball coach at University of Minnesota Duluth to working in the business world. Sue shares with us the challenges she experienced making those transitions and how she wishes she would have reached out to women who were previously in her shoes for advice and guidance. Sue sits on the Her Next Play Advisory Council and is passionate about developing the next generation of women leaders through sports.
