When investing in Africa, it's not just about the returns; investors can make a significant impact on the lives of the people they are helping. Many African companies are solving real problems and addressing critical needs, such as supply chain challenges, financial services access, and infrastructure development.
The case for investing in Africa lies in the diverse opportunities available across various sectors, including agribusiness, telecommunications, financial services, marketing, and sales. In contrast to markets like the US, where small businesses must innovate significantly to compete with large corporations, Africa allows entrepreneurs to create their own space and achieve remarkable results. By investing in Africa, investors can not only generate income but also contribute to the social and economic development of the continent.

Are you a Christian business owner struggling to exercise your religious freedom> Do you feel alone and unsure of how to navigate the tension between violating your conscience and religious expression and violating a governmental mandate? As Christians, we are called to have compassion, love our neighbor, and love those around us who may not live or believe like we do, but what do you do when you become the target of today’s Cancel Culture? Have you wondered, “What now? What next?” and uncertain where to turn to?
On this podcast, Patrice Tsague introduces Shannon Royce, President of the Christian Employers Alliance (CEA) and guest panelist on the January 25, 2023 Nehemiah E-Community Global Forum on Religious Freedom in the Marketplace: How to be Salt and Light in a Hostile Environment.
The CEA is an association of Christian-owned businesses whose mission is to unite, equip and represent Christian-owned businesses and to protect religious freedom in the marketplace. In this podcast, Shannon and Patrice explore the birth of the CEA out of Hobby Lobby’s lawsuit against a mandate of the US Government that violated the company owners’ ability to live out their Christian convictions and faith in the conduct of their business. In addition, they discuss how the CEA works to help Christian-owned businesses defend their right to exercise their constitutional religious freedoms and how they advocate for Christian-owned businesses to operate without fear of retribution or discrimination amidst Cancel Culture.
The Christian Employers Alliance is an easily accessible, affordable membership organization. It exists to provide education and solutions to help Christian businesses navigate marketplace challenges. It exposes Christian businesses to key congressional leaders and experts and creates opportunities for Christian businesses to have personal connections and support. In addition, the CEA provides advocacy and legal representation for Christian businesses in contesting legislative mandates that infringe on religious freedoms. Their third annual conference, which brings together each of CEA’s objectives, will take place at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, DC, on September 28-29, 2023. Details will be available on their website.
A member of the CEA, the Nehemiah Project International Ministries has partnered with the CEA for the January 25th Global Forum on Religious Freedom. Bringing together public and private sector leaders, the Forum will discuss religious freedom and reassure and bolster every marketplace Christian brother and sister. If you’re looking for answers on how to live out your faith in the current environment that is increasingly hostile to Christian businesses, employers and employees, please register here to join us at the Global Forum on Religious Freedom on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at 10 am-12 pm Eastern Standard Time (7-9 am PDT).
Codebeautify.org Text to HTML ConverterFor this year's Giving Tuesday, Patrice met up with E-community leaders across the globe to see the impact of their work, and the powerful stories behind their inspiring initiatives. The Gift of Business: Texas, USA First up is Trudy Hankins, who is the newest member on board. She's the director of the new E-community Center in Dallas Fort Worth that was launched on 14th September. Passionate about her mission and vision for the center, Trudy shares how it's helping to empower local entrepreneurs. The Gift of Business: Bulgaria Patrice also speaks to Arman & Petya Lalane, a couple working with Bulgarian biblical entrepreneurs. It's amazing how the pair manage to run their operations from California while supporting entrepreneurs in Bulgaria. Their story is a powerful testament to the power of global connection and support. According to Arman, when you impact 6% of entrepreneurs in a country, you impact the whole nation and its economy. Every dollar counts in making the training and coaching program affordable for Bulgarians. The Gift of Business: Florida, USA Patrice also talks to Samuel Lowry, who amazingly works alongside his mom Ana Maria Lowry who's the founder and CEO of A & P International and director of the E-Community Center in Orlando, Florida that works with the Hispanic community. Seeing that the Hispanic community is the largest minority group in the USA, the Orlando Center offers training and coaching programs in both English and Spanish. Samuel also points out how they are supporting immigrants by assisting them in starting businesses and leading to financial freedom--and that donor funds would help them make an even greater impact. The Gift of Business: Asia Pacific Moving on to Asia, Patrice speaks to Poh Sim Saw, the director for the Asia Pacific region to discuss the impact of the Nehemiah Project. Poh Sim Saw explains how the Nehemiah Project is helping to empower Asian entrepreneurs to build sustainable enterprises and businesses, tackling issues such as poverty, and lack of access to resources. She shares an inspiring story of Joy and Jino, a couple that took second place in the International Business Plan Competition this year. They were only able to do so because they received a subsidy for the BE Course, which they otherwise could not afford. Poh Sim Saw explains that the success of Joy and Jino shows that through Nehemiah Project, they are able to provide access to resources and knowledge to people who would not have had it before, and make an impact through job creation, economic empowerment, and social development. Donating to our cause will go a long way in Asia. Many entrepreneurs need help launching their businesses, and with your donation, we can continue translating our courses into Mandarin, Hindu, and Thai. The Gift of Business: Nairobi, Kenya To wrap it up, Patrice speaks to Frank Kitonga, the Founder of Blueflame International and Country Director of Nehemiah Project Kenya. Kenya has had great success in the International Business Plan competition having won the last three years in a row. Frank explains how Nehemiah Project has helped entrepreneurs there to access capital, build businesses, and create jobs, giving examples of the current IBPC winner, Dominic Gitau, who grew up in the slums but has managed to transform his life and is creating employment to help other people in his community, and that of Rina Hicks, who won the IBPC in 2021, and is making a difference through financial inclusion. Nehemiah Project Kenya has also managed to start a radio station, Hope Fm which is among the top three currently in Kenya and hopefully will make it to the top when they include programs in Swahili. Frank also hopes to have the BE, Business Success Accelerator, Identity and Destity and the Sustainable Church Initiative programs trans

On this week's episode, Wendie and Debra talked about building a team following biblical guidelines. As we learned from last week's episode, going solo is not an option for long-term success. We need others to pitch in their skills, talents, and abilities so that everyone can succeed. But more importantly, God needs to be at the center of our team to help guide us through decision-making.
In today's competitive business environment, it is more important than ever to have a well-functioning team that can help you succeed and thrive. But how do you build such a team? And what are the most important biblical principles to keep in mind when doing so?
7 Tips for Building a Team Based on Biblical Principles Set Goals in Your Organization Goals are important in any business, but they are especially critical when you want to build a team based on biblical principles. Why? Because goals help drive your team members towards a common goal, which can be hard to do with people who have different skill sets and talents.
It's important to set these goals together as a team and make sure everyone is on the same page and that everyone feels like they are contributing towards something big.
Think about Your Teams' Roles It's important to delineate each person's roles and responsibilities. What does their job entail? How often do they have to work together? Do they need to collaborate regularly or only every once in a while? Is there a particular goal that everyone is working towards, or are they all contributing in their own way? Your team's roles will help shape the dynamic of your team.
Maximize Their Skills When you're setting up your team, it's important to think about each team member's skills and strengths. What can they bring to the table that will benefit the team? Are there any areas where they could use some improvement? How can you help them grow in those areas?
Embrace Diversity of Experience A team is often stronger when it includes people with a variety of experiences, perspectives and backgrounds. If you're building a team from scratch, try to include people who have different strengths and weaknesses. By working together, they can learn from each other and develop the skills they need to be successful.
Set Expectations From Day One As you build a team, set clear expectations from the very beginning. What are the goals for this particular project or endeavor? When will these goals be achieved? Make sure everyone understands your expectations and is accountable for meeting those goals.
Allow the Team to Take Risks and Experiment As you work together, allow your team to explore and experiment. Encourage them to try new things and make mistakes. Afterward, talk about what worked, what didn't work and how the team can do better next time.
You may decide to change your goals or expectations based on what you learn during this trial-and-error period.
Celebrate Your Successes and Failures It's important to celebrate the successes and failures of your team. Congratulate your team members when they meet their goals or accomplish something new, and recognize their hard work and dedication. Likewise, your team needs to be open about what did not go well, so that everyone can learn from any mistakes made along the way.
We are happy to have wrapped up the Proverbs 31 woman series and are excited for our brand new series "In Community". To succeed, we all need to be in community, we need a support system of fellow women who can encourage and guide us in our journeys. As we are growing into Proverbs 31 women, we also need to be in community with other Proverbs 31 women.
More often than not, we prefer to do go independent, we like to do things on our own. Sometimes it's because of fear, lack of trust or ego, but as we strive to become more like Proverbs 31 women, it's important that we learn to seek out other women so that we make impact in the world and our businesses.
So how can we build a community to help your business?
Identify Your Mission and Your Values The first step in building a community to support your business is to identify your mission and values. At the core of your business, what are you trying to achieve? What are your goals for the business, as well as for yourself and your team? Once you have identified these core intentions, it will be much easier to build a supportive community.
Don't Try to Be Everything to Everyone It is important to be clear about who your target audience is, and focus your energy and resources on building a community that will be beneficial for this group. Trying to appeal to everyone can quickly lead to overwhelm, as well as frustration from those who don't feel like they are being catered to. Instead, focus on creating an authentic community that is centered around the needs and interests of your core target audience.
Identify Your Purpose and Share it With Those Around You If you can share your purpose and what you hope to achieve with those in your community, they will be better able to help you reach your goals. If you are trying to create a sense of community among like-minded individuals, be clear about how these people can benefit from becoming involved.
Be a Resource for Others to Connect In addition to establishing a sense of community around shared ideals and goals, you can also help create connections among those in your community through acts of service. This may involve helping individuals meet one another or connecting people who share common interests or goals.
Facilitate, Don't Control Rather than controlling what others are doing, do whatever it takes to support the efforts of others and make those actions easier. By doing so, you can help your community members achieve more together than they would be able to achieve on their own.
It's Important to Be "In Community"... Remember ladies, you cannot do it all alone! To be "in community" means you are part of a group, and this means working together to accomplish goals, solve problems, and build healthy connections.
You can also learn a lot from being in community with others. By sharing your experiences and expertise, you can help other people grow and learn. And by listening to the perspectives of others, you can gain new insights and ideas that may be valuable for your own personal growth or professional development.
This new series "In Community" is going to be informative, and insightful, so make sure to tune in every Thursday to learn more about the benefits of being in community, how to build one or how to identify one that is right for you.
The auto insurance and auto collision industry is experiencing a major disruption!
Today, Patrice Tsague sits down with Juan “Charlie” Rodriguez, the founder of Allyz Auto, a cutting-edge company that is redefining how cars are repaired and challenging the ‘modus operandi’ of the auto collision industry.
Ally’s Auto is a pro-consumer, pro-fairness auto repair shop located in Orlando, FL. Certified with 15 different auto manufacturers, Allyz Auto’s mission is to perform auto repairs without deceiving, cheating, or stealing from their consumers from two angles.
First, by following strict manufacturers’ data standards for every repair, and secondly, by protecting customers from the unscrupulous business practices of insurance companies. Juan explains that his company's vision is to completely transform the auto collision industry by being an ally for vehicle owners and an example to collision repair professionals.
Juan reveals how the auto insurance industry is in league with numerous collision shops as well as car dealerships to award the least compensation and provide the lowest repair service for the sake of company profit. Mr. Rodriguez's difference in the industry not only lies in his military training in Air Force mechanics and his ability to employ manufacturer specs and repair data to all his repairs, but also in his application of Biblical principles of excellence, integrity, and service.
A loving husband and father, Juan Rodriguez is also a Biblical Entrepreneur and a passionate advocate for Nehemiah Project’s Identity and Destiny Class. He is a Kingdom investor with Nehemiah Project’s Global Kingdom Investor’s Network, and was the 2022 recipient of the Nehemiah Project’s Biblical Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Here’s the video in case you missed it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pypC48AceI
Juan's story and his work in the auto collision industry is more than could be adequately covered in this podcast. Enjoy this segment of Juan "Charlie" Rodriguez's story and stay tuned for Part 2 and possibly Part 3!
We've had an amazing journey together learning about the Proverbs 31 woman and how we can apply her lessons in our lives today. So we decided to do a summary episode of all the lessons we've learned.
The Proverbs 31 Woman has been an inspiration to women for centuries. She is the epitome of a godly, hardworking, and virtuous woman. Here are 10 lessons from the Proverbs 31 Woman that we can apply in our lives today:
10 Lessons from The Proverbs 31 Woman Trustworthiness The Proverbs 31 woman is someone you can count on. She is reliable and does what she says she will do. When it comes to business, this is an essential quality. People need to be able to trust you to do what you say you will do.
Being a Blessing to Others The Proverbs 31 woman is always looking for ways to bless others. She is generous with her time, her resources, and her talents. When we bless others, God blesses us in return.
Hardwork The Proverbs 31 woman is a hard worker. She works diligently to take care of her family and their home. She is always looking for ways to be productive and make things run smoothly.
Resourcefulness The Proverbs 31 woman is resourceful. She knows how to make the most of what she has. She is creative and finds ways to save money and time. When we are resourceful, we can accomplish more with less.
Diligence The Proverbs 31 woman is industrious. She is always busy and never seems to rest. She is always looking for ways to be productive and make things happen. When we are industrious, we can achieve great things.
Generosity The Proverbs 31 woman is generous. She is always giving to others. She is always willing to help those in need. When we are generous, we can make a difference in the lives of others.
Having Business Acumen The Proverbs 31 woman is astute in business. She knows how to make money and how to invest it wisely. When we are astute in business, we can be successful in our endeavors.
Strength and Dignity The Proverbs 31 woman is strong and dignified. She is a woman of character and integrity. When we are strong and dignified, we can be an example to others. She drew her strength from the Lord and was not afraid of anything. And this is what we should do as well. Draw our strength from the Lord and be not afraid.
Clothed in Beauty The Proverbs 31 woman is clothed in beauty, both inner and outer. She takes care of herself and her family. When we are beautiful at heart, we can be a blessing to those around us. We can make a difference in the lives of others.
Full of Wisdom Finally, the last of the ten lessons from the Proverbs 31 woman, she is full of wisdom. She knows what is right and wrong. She is a woman of discernment. When we are full of wisdom, we can make wise decisions in business and in life. We can be a blessing to those around us.
There you have it! Ten lessons from the Proverbs 31 woman that we can all learn from. These are just a few of the many things that we can glean from this amazing woman's example. Take some time to study her character and see what else you can discover. Then, take what you've learned and apply it to your own life. As you do, you'll be amazed at the difference it makes!
We are almost wrapping up the Proverbs 31 woman series. So far in this series, we have looked at the Proverbs 31 woman in terms of her character, her work ethic, and her spiritual life. This week, we will focus on her wisdom in decision-making.
This woman is often portrayed as being perfect and having it all together, but we know that decision-making is hard! On the podcast, Wendie and Debra discuss how the Proverbs 31 woman used wisdom in decision-making and how we can too.
Kindness and Wisdom in Decision Making The Proverbs 31 woman is known for being wise. In Proverbs 31:26, it says, "She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue." The Proverbs 31 woman is not only wise, but she is also kind. She uses her wisdom to make decisions that are not only in her own best interest but also in the best interest of others.
Consequences When it comes to decision-making, we often think about what is best for us in the short term. We may make a decision that will save us money in the short term, but end up costing us more in the long term. The Proverbs 31 woman is wise enough to think about the long-term implications of her decisions. She knows that making a decision based on what is best for her in the short term may not be best for her in the long term.
Acknowledge the Lord " We can't speak with wisdom and we cannot speak with kindness, the Lord's kindness, the Lord's love. If we are not, acknowledging Him and asking for His direction."
The Proverbs 31 woman knows that she needs to acknowledge the Lord in all her ways in order for Him to direct her path. She trusts in the Lord's wisdom and love and knows that He will always lead her on the right path.
And when it comes to decision-making, we need to do the same. We need to seek the Lord's wisdom and love, and trust that He will always lead us on the right path - even if it's not the path we originally planned on taking.
So, when you're facing a decision, big or small, ask yourself: "Is this decision based on what is best for me, or is it based on what is best for the Lord?"
If it's the latter, then you can be confident that you're making the right decision, even if it's not the easiest one. Because when we make decisions based on what is best for God, we know that He will always lead us on the right path. And that is a path worth taking.
We had an amazing session and in case you missed it, you can watch it on YouTube on the link below. You can also find all the other podcasts on our YouTube channel. Be sure to subscribe, like, share and comment!

Wendie and Debra are back for this week's episode after they 'took a breath' last week to attend the launch of the new E-Community Launch in DFW. Trudy, the regional director for the new DFW E-Community center, was on the podcast two weeks ago and shared her vision and plans for the center. In case you missed it, watch it hereor read the recap blog here.
This week's episode is all about the Proverbs 31 woman. What does it mean to be a woman clothed in beauty?
The world tells us that we need to look a certain way, dress a certain way, and wear our hair a certain way in order to be considered beautiful. However, to God, true beauty comes from the inside.
In this episode, Wendie and Debra discuss what it means to be a Proverbs 31 woman clothed in beauty. They talk about how true beauty does not come from our outward appearance, but from our inward character.
The Proverbs 31 woman is a great example of an inner beauty that radiates to the outside. She is clothed in strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.
So how can we as Christian women strive for this type of inner beauty?
Wendie and Debra share some helpful tips, such as
These are just a few of the ways that you can become a Proverbs 31 woman clothed in beauty, both inside and out. So take the time to focus on your inner beauty today, and watch as it radiates to the outside for all the world to see.
When looking for your power suit, you need to ask yourself: "What is the thing that reminds you and fills you with that strength and confidence?" It's different for everyone. Maybe it is a physical article of clothing, maybe it is your favorite color, or maybe it is something that you wear on the inside, like your wedding ring. Whatever it is, find that thing and wear it with pride.
Inner beauty is something that should be strived for by all Christian women. We should be confident in who we are and not strive to meet the world's standards of beauty. We need to be secure in our own skin and realize that our worth comes from Christ and not from our physical appearance.

The Biblical Entrepreneur's Journey to Sustain Freedom- EC Podcast: Host Tsague with Mr. Chartier.
Lonny and Sherri Hutchison are childhood sweethearts who grew up together, fell in love, got married, had children, built a business, and now enjoy the freedom of living on their passive income. Lonny and Sherri join Patrice in this podcast to discuss their spell-binding journey to financial freedom, and it is one that you will not want to miss.
From the humble beginnings of graduating high school into a blue-collar job, Lonny shares how he realized he had nothing to lose by being the owner of the business he worked in. He started taking contracts and slowly built clients to the point where he employed a dozen people. Sherri worked the business systems side while he grew the technical side till the business hit the ceiling and they needed to pivot to remain sustainable.
The couple made a few mistakes along the way, and God, in His providence, brought them to Nehemiah Project International Ministries, where they started coaching with Patrice Tsague. After some very difficult choices to the point of giving up their business, the Lord opened doors that have ushered the Hutchisons to the position today where they are the catalysts of Nehemiah Project's new initiative on Passive Income! Lonny points to complete surrender to the Lord and submission to Godly coaching as the reasons why they are where they are today. You'll be glad you listened to this podcast.

As we continue on the topic of "The Proverbs 31 Woman", a literal Modern Proverbs 31 woman Joan T Randall joins Wendie and Debra for this episode.
Joan is an award-winning best-selling author, international speaker, business coach, and independent publisher. And she was one of the judges for The International Business Plan Competition.
Joan shares her amazing journey and talks about the abuse she went through in her marriage and how she overcame it to be the successful woman she is today. She says "partner, plan, and prepare" are the three Ps that helped her get out of her abusive marriage and start a new life.
Partnering is necessary because when you try to do it all alone, it's just too hard. Women and men alike going through abuse need to have a solid support system. Partner with a friend, a spiritual mentor, and most importantly with God.
Planning is the second "P" and is also crucial. You need to have a plan for your life and your future. You need to know where you're going and how you're going to get there. And preparing is key because you need to be ready for whatever might come your way.
Joan's story is one of inspiration, courage, and hope. She is an amazing example of what a Proverbs 31 woman looks like in today's world. She reminds us that the Modern Proverbs 31 woman is not perfect, but we should strive to be the best that we can be.
"...we may not have every single characteristic, but if we show up as our authentic self and be the best version of who God calls us to be, then we are modeling aspects of the Proverbs 31 woman!"

How do I balance my family with my work? How do I ensure that I earn respect on the job and in the marketplace, how do I see myself? The modern business woman faces unique challenges that require a different skill set. There are still a lot of stereotypes and we're still a couple of years away from equality.
In this episode of "Take a Breath", Debra and Wendie explore what it really means to balance work and life as a woman in business. They also offer their thoughts on the importance of alignment over balancing and how to achieve it.
There are three key lessons that the modern-day woman can derive from the Proverbs 31 woman on Balancing vs Alignment.
"...opportunity is our preparation intersecting with God's timing." - Debra.
Women in business need to remember that all work should be done for God's glory. It's a calling, not just a career. When we surrender our businesses to Him and trust that He will direct our steps, we can find the peace and balance that eludes so many of us.
If you're feeling out of alignment or struggling to achieve balance in your work and life, take a breath and remember these three key lessons from Proverbs 31 woman.
Setting priorities also plays an important role in creating balance in our lives. The Proverbs 31 woman was able to balance her work and home life by setting priorities. She knew what was important to her and she made sure that those things were taken care of first.
We can learn from her example by taking a look at our own lives and seeing where we need to set some priorities. What is important to you? What do you need to do in order to take care of those things?
When we set our priorities and make sure that we are taking care of the things that are important to us, we will find that it is easier to achieve balance in our lives.

In this episode of Take a Breath, hosts Debra and Wendy are joined by special guest Frida Labra to discuss her entrepreneurial journey and the challenges facing women in business. Frida is a 20-year-old entrepreneur from Mexico, who currently works with her father to run their family business.
Besides being an entrepreneur, Frida is part of the Nehemiah E-Community and is currently working with Jamil Rosales, the center director for the Nehemiah Project in Mexico.
Frida notes that sexism is one of the major challenges she has faced as a woman entrepreneur. She recounts the story of how a client refused to do business with her company, simply because she is a woman, and insisted on talking to her father instead. Frida says that this experience made her realize that there are still many people who believe that women are not capable of running businesses successfully. However, seeking God's intervention and patience has helped her to overcome this challenge.
"You cannot control other people, but you can control how you respond. You respond with love, you respond with kindness, you respond with respect regardless of how they act." Wendy adds.
Another challenge women face is not believing in themselves. The dismissal of our importance and the value for what we're doing can send the wrong message to others. As women in business, we must learn to value what we do, so that others can respect us as well.
Identity and destiny are two very important things that we must discover for success. Knowing who we are and what God's plans and purposes for us are so that we do not think of ourselves as smaller or insignificant.
Remember, when you put God first, He will direct your path. He will open doors that no man can shut and give you the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to be successful.

Nehemiah Week 2022 is ongoing, guys! Yesterday we had an amazing day with our guest speakers on Nehemiah Week 2022 Day 2. Here's how our program went:
Devotion The Nehemiah Week 2022 Day 2 program started with devotion by Pastor Noela Lumande, who emphasized that change is inevitable.
As business leaders, however, we must learn to adapt to change and use it to our advantage.
"Change shouldn't kill your dreams, it is an opportunity to bring up the dream, vision, and leadership within us."
Operational Excellence This was followed by a talk by Patrice Tsague who talked about Operational Excellence. What does it mean to operate in excellence?
It is a discipline we must cultivate in ourselves and instill in our teams to produce quality results consistently.
"The highest calling we have as Biblical entrepreneurs is to be the witnesses of God. You must operate in excellence at all times!"
Building Your Adaptive Advantage Susan Schramm came in to talk about 'Building Your Adaptive Advantage.
"Referring to Pastor Noela's talk on the reality of change, Susan said that as entrepreneurs, we need to be adaptable so that we can survive and thrive in the midst of change. We need to have an adaptive advantage!
She went on to say that the first step to being adaptable is acknowledging that change is inevitable and that we need to embrace it instead of resisting it. We need to create a plan and take action steps that will help us weather any storm.
A Kingdom Company's Journey to Excellence We also had Julius Thiong'o, who talked about the 7S model, which he said is very relevant in the current business environment.
The 7S model stands for Strategy, Structure, Systems, Skills, Style, Shared values, and Staff.
He said that in order to be successful, organizations need to ensure that all of these elements are aligned and working together towards a common goal.
Setting Priorities Andy Mason talked about the importance of setting priorities to continue to operate in excellence.
He said that we need to be clear about our priorities so that we can focus on what's important and let go of what's not. "
A Biblical Key For Prosperity The last guest speaker for Nehemiah Week 2022 Day 2 was Sorin Backer, who talked about 'A Biblical Key For Prosperity'. "The words we speak condition our minds."
Our words have power, and we must be careful about what we say. We should speak words of life, hope, and faith.
We also had breakout sessions between speakers where participants could interact and discuss what they had learned.

Patrice Tsague hosts the Africa Regional Business Plan Competition Winner and founder of Joy Fresh Produce- Dominic Gitau to talk about his business and what it'll mean for him and his business should he win the International Business Plan Competition. Dominic is a young biblical entrepreneur from Kenya who is passionate about agriculture and food security. Through his company Joy Fresh Produce, he seeks to provide quality fresh produce to not only Kenya but the world. He also plans to use his business to create employment opportunities for youth in Kenya's rural areas targeting about 600 full-time employees in the next five years. In this episode, an enthusiastic Dominic takes us through his life, having been brought up in the slums by a single mom who struggled to make ends meet. Dominic also talks about how he was always determined to succeed and change his family's fortune and his journey of finding Christ which influenced his decision of going into biblical entrepreneurship. Dominic is going against Jeniffer from France (Europe region) Jason Centeno from the USA (the North American region), and Jino and Joy from India (Asia region) to compete for the top prize in the International Business Plan Competition. He stands a chance to win up to $11,000; the winner takes home $10,000 and the audience gets a chance to vote for their favorite entrepreneur to win the People's Choice Award of $1,000. All hope is not lost if he misses out on the top prize as there are also consolation prizes of $5,000 for the first runner-up and $3,00 for the second runner-up. This is a lot of pressure for Dominic but he is not new to competitions as he has always been a go-getter and has always strived to be the best. He's been part of the Nehemiah E- Community for three and a half years, and he is confident that this time has prepared him enough for the competition. "This is not my win, it is the win for Kenya, the win for that farmer, the win for the community, and the win to the Glory of God...'' Dominic says. "My message to the world is that we can achieve anything we set our minds to do. If a slum boy from Kenya can make it this far, then anyone can," he adds. Dominic's story is one of hope and inspiration, showing us that no matter where we come from, we can achieve great things if we set our minds to it. When we are defining a sustainable church we talk about different steps in building a spiritually vibrant church that is financially viable with a successful congregation committed to impacting culture until Jesus returns.
Many churches are undergoing quite a number of challenges because they have not built a thriving community that embraces one another for growth, support and market place revelation. There have been a huge gap in our churches today in a way that most pastors do not realize that market revelation and realization is something that can actually build their interactions with one another.
Generations come and go, but the church would always remain to be same. If you want to be unique and stay for the longest time without being affected by economic, social or political tribulations you must build a culture of commitment amongst your audience.
When a church has an established culture over years, gaining unbreakable reputation is premium for the longest time. A sustainable church should be holistic in all dimensions, and this is important not only for the church but also in representation of the body of Christ.
At times the society demands the presence of the church in addressing some critical issues that affect them. It is for this reason that, most advanced societies would want to associate themselves with established church that are well known for sustainability in difficult situations.
Different groups of people would want to be associated with a church that builds their faith, impacts in almost all the factors surrounding them. The expansion of churches globally has caused the atmosphere to have a very difficult appeal to the society, the rise of splinter groups within the subsets of the church is alarming.
When you are a pastor and the goal is to oversee a church that stays for long and accommodates the entire society without bias, you need to emphasize on building the foundation under Christ. Some few people will always be there to destroy an established foundation in the society but under Christ, everything is deemed secure for future.
A sustainable church will always be a bride to Christ and society’s hope at all times.

Africa Virtual Summit on Investment
Investment is a need for any business owner or brand in the market today. Most people find it hard to execute maximally investment strategies, this will go a long way in planning their investment strategies. Africans have been clustered to be one of the poorest when it comes to better investment strategies.
For what most brands don’t know is that investment is actually a potential way of putting your money/wealth into work with a guarantee of plowing back profit in form of Assets. God puts a burn in the hearts of business owners to invest for the future growth of the community and society privileged to enjoy the proceed of their businesses.
Raising billion dollars a year for brands might look like an uphill task, but that can be solved when an investor chooses to care about the returns and be proud of trying to actually realize the billion dollars mark as projected.
Not everyone would know how to save and invest. Such instances are connected always by circumstances such as psychological behaviors, age, and demand just to mention a few. Competitive returns are quite risky when trying to build an investment strategy. When the capital is good, the offer to return will also blossom a great deal.
When you combine capital and an optimistic heart in your business the positivity in returns will be automatically guaranteed. The goal for your investment strategy should be educational in every step, no one knows how to invest on the first try.
Many entrepreneurs in Africa fear risking it all for investments that guarantee returns. Why should they make this choice no matter the risk? Entrepreneurs should have an unimaginable desire to make the future better than what they have now.
This is even near the heart but away from the performance. However, working in faith and reminding self to take one step after another brings more joy that is accorded to even living in a moment than anything else.
In summary, the amount of investment a business owner can have is always tied to the risk or amount of market tolerance a business has in the industry. Taking some risk is really necessary when you aim to expand. Africa has an open space for business owners to expand, it’s just a matter of time before such needs would be exploited aggressively in the future.
Too much risk will lead to high investments and vice versa of the same if not done well!

Leadership: The Key to Scaling Your Business – EC Podcast: Host Patrice Tsague with Guest Anne Beiler.
Many entrepreneurs are facing a huge challenge in trying to make their businesses better. Clients come to your business because they are struck and stuck, yet such businesses can’t handle them. Some businesses have hit glass ceiling trying to scale because of so many things; Pretending to be something they are not.
Lack of knowledge to scale up and grow your business may feel slightly scary by the prospect. Every business has a story, and all these stories are accelerated by the need of the owner to achieve something for themselves. Sometimes it is driven by internal factors, psychological demands, and level of skill set or expertise.
Some of the most important items that will help you scale your business actively and aggressively is by introducing family into your business model. Let everything be guided by the principles of hope and life. By focusing on what you want to be and not what you are is very important.
By employing a culture of religion into your business, you will be taking yourself a notch higher compared to those in your surroundings. (Christ in a working). You must be ready for growth at any time – this will help you generate more force in your performance in the market.
Sometimes, a business built in a family setting, risks of abuse and negative collaboration may arise. This calls for more counselling of the entire team and even the executive themselves. When we hear different success stories in business, we all have that greener side of the leaf because everything is at the “Rest Stage.”
Successful business people, have stories that not only ties them to their business alone, but also family, religion and culture. When all these factors are catered for and brought to optimum, success will automatically reflect in your business. It might not be easy because of other one or two few factors, like capital and technology, but with a plan you will be guaranteed of a slow but steady approach for in the market.
If you want to scale your business, you need to have a purpose about other people, Have a great product for the market and society and also surround yourself with a team of great experienced people. Great businesses focus on these key points. Being a charismatic entrepreneur, you must have a goal of building a community cohesive brand that elevates the community surrounded.
There are a lot ways you can think of when it comes to scaling your business, however when you don’t deal first with yourself, then it would be hard to replicate the same in your business, staff and family.

2022 Africa Regional Competition
Africa is a land of vast business opportunities. Looking at the number of startups and the increasing need for venture capitalists to invest in Africa we find that, the future of many economies lies in Africa.
In the coming years, Africa’s position with so many countries living under the poverty line, political problems, and diseases have a greater advantage of growth than other countries because of the need to invest in Africa, Empower Africans, and Build Africa.
When we look at how entrepreneurs in Africa come up with their different business models, all aiming at improving the state of their societies, we find out that Africa has the ability to grow economically, socially, and politically exponentially.
Despite the corruption and economic subjugation, Africa is still the place where systems demand to be built. There is actually a lot of space to build in Africa in terms of Infrastructure. If you don’t invest in Africa now, you will be losing the biggest chunk of the future economic powerhouse.
When we look at the youngest active population that’s making purchases come from Africa. The intellectual population growth in Africa is quite demanding for the economy. This is the reason why it’s defined as a land of vast underutilized opportunities.
However, there are so many challenges in Africa for Entrepreneurs; corruption, poor policies, and political instabilities just to mention a few that scare away investors. This has been cornered by the advancement of technology, the implementation of Godly principles that guide entrepreneurial journeys.
The growing democracy in Africa has also opened more business opportunities for the continent. The demand and sense of nationalism has been growing, People want to see the future of their livelihoods and their children improve, that’s why we have foreigners in Africa helping the population grow.
African leaders need to come together and vouch for more open business investments from external philanthropists. These leaders are the experts, entrepreneurs, and sporting activities leaders. Africa is developed and that’s something that is driving the willingness to build Africa.
A call to action is for more investors to come and employ more Africans in more scalable opportunities. Some Africans want to leave their continent for better opportunities in foreign worlds, without realizing how incredible Africa it is to the world; when there realize it later, it becomes more surprising to see them come back and start their own robust businesses too.
This is what the bible teaches us when it comes to the pursuit of wealth and growth. (Hunger, intelligence and willingness to work)

Biblical Entrepreneurship in Cyprus – EC Podcast: Patrice Tsague with guest Antony and Naomi Vasili
When it comes to building a robust business, all you need is support. Most businesses fail because they do not receive the right kind of spiritual guidance that can strengthen them in the market.
As a couple who have the desire to build a successful business, it is always advised to first understand each other, so that you can achieve the fundamental values of working cohesively.
Businesses built on the foundation of Christ would certainly perform very well because so many things might happen along the way but with Christ, you can do your duties and let God complete the rest.
The growth of biblical influence on couples in business has grown a long way as many people now discover this as the right trajectory for building a robust economy.
When couples have to trust the surety of working together is always at its peak. This trust is the foundation of good listenership and performance in the market.
A good man will always trust in his wife by realizing the Godly ways of working as a team. The bible advises individuals to focus on building one another when love is there. This has greatly impacted how humble couples want to view the bible in business.
Some of the key values that entrepreneur couples need to avoid is “Overthinking”. With an open mind toward biblical teachings, couples can perfect so many things in business.
While championing for greater understanding of the bible, it is clear that most people now would love to work with their couples than friends because of the closeness in belief, therefore it’s always important to be open to one another.
While profits are always a very critical component and are necessary to secure the capital needed to serve the community, profits are not the reward — they are the means. For those in business, or those who want to start over, seeking biblical advice will help build a foundation that no other entrepreneur who is a non-believer wouldn’t try top demolish.

Biblical Entrepreneurship in Haiti
Biblical entrepreneurship is about helping others achieve more by giving them networks is one of the kind ways of living a good life. By the idea of building better through biblical teachings that would guide others have the best entrepreneurship growth is a blessing.
When you set your goals that you want to achieve this you will have to commit to hard work, focus, commitment and the desire to walk with God. Everyone wants to be in a community that’s connected, a community that makes them grow together.
The entrepreneurial thread of life is very thin but tight. Sometimes it has challenges, at the same time it makes you tough to believe you can. Sometimes we meet people who don’t understand the needs of us in the market, all we do make is them believe.
Valuing God and seeking his intervention in every step you take is so important. A community living in cohesion and helping each other grow is a community guided and protected by God. As a leader and a person who is focused in his entrepreneurial goals you’ll have to be close to God.
Sometimes you will discover you are not just doing it for yourself, but for the sake of those who come next after you. A generation built in the foundation of working hard and leaving the next generation something to be proud of makes God happy.
The community wants to connect with someone who sees the vision bigger than them. This is appellate to every like-minded entrepreneur. Therefore you should focus on living for growth. Don’t forget to trust yourself and the people next to you.
We should always remember that the score card is always important. You’ll have challenges along the way in finding yourself, as a starter but don’t lose the race and the pace.
Biblical entrepreneurship is one of the best topics you can ever enjoy anytime. When we want to build a community of like-minded business leaders, growing together, we ought to consider the important calling from God, which are now the Biblical Entrepreneurship Principles!
In the end, we all want to be happy. We all want to connect with each other and grow easily, by being a leader you putting yourself at the forefront to guide others. Having a hub that will bring all of them closer would minimize many differences and increase the opportunities of sharing ideas and borrowing from each other.!

Getting Better in Business as a Couple!
Surprisingly, couples who are running small businesses are thriving in the global economy today. Perhaps we should think of something, right?
Well, how do we get better? By understanding how to get better in business as a couple you’ll have to do the following things. Hold up, let's set you up!
Both of you would have the idea, and the outlook of your goals but finding the best excuse to laying your efforts together is not there.
A family brainstorming is so important at this stage, let ideas flow, and allow each other to meditate on the long-term effect of the idea. Build up together on each gap. Once the idea impresses the visual goals of what you want together then you can now support each other.
Getting an idea is a great thing!
The next wise idea is to analyze the industry, and how other players in that field of your idea. Determine the core differences and spot a market gap. This is often called “SWOT analysis” simply checking the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
This is a very important part. Being a couple you’ll often bump into each other, but you’ll know how to navigate that.
Let God always be your anchor. Let him guide most of your decisions as a couple. It’s always important to believe that there is someone who will always take care of you. And that’s God!
A business that has the presence of God in it will always thrive. You pray for each other, and you encourage each other every day. That’s how you’ll find yourself up.
Allow the decisions that you also make in your business to be guided by Godly intervention. Good businesses have grown and even survived during the pandemic have been these small businesses run by couples.
There are plenty of reasons to commend your spouse for the choice of finally deciding to work together. Best but just a few of these are like;
· You put your minds together.
· You both are accountable to each other.
· The ability to focus is high.
· Assisting others to grow will always be your priority.
· You will always be close to each other.
Find yourself a nice spouse and try out a business together! You’ll be amazed.
There are challenges, but the focus is always important when you find it hard for each other. Allow them to respect each other and balance between work and love. Go for dates, find God, and make each other happy when the distance begins. There will always be no challenges.
You can start today and see how it flows. However, patience, hard work, and integrity should always be your anchor. Let God be part of you. And you’ll be what you dream for!

Cultivating Good Soil through entrepreneurship in Africa
Many people have a misconception that you have to go to college in order to get blue/white collar jobs yet you can easily start a successful business for yourself. Being authentic in business is one of the most important things. It is always good to risk it out if you don’t have the perfect idea to execute.
A good entrepreneur will have vision and most at times the family has a great impact in what you do. You can choose to start out with something you can easily do which can become an anchor to your next level of becoming a better entrepreneur.
A good business strategy will always have all the factors catered for. When it comes to creating a good business strategy as a practice, you have to build yourself structurally well, this will include your marketing initiatives, the operationalization of your company, target audience.
All you need is focusing two things, understanding your target audience and putting extra time into your work. When it comes to entrepreneurship you need to always have a culture of trying to outmaneuver your competitors, which can be translated into being one step ahead.
When a customer calls you, all they need is value from your products, how you serve them, interact with them and even how you reach out to them. A good business will encourage you to challenge yourself.
Challenge yourself in building better, being different and accelerate more ROIs than any other player in the same sector you are in. There are always a culture of repeat needs when your customers believe in what you give them, whether it’s a service or a product.
Also, tied to yourself is the team that you want to grow with. A cohesive set of mindsets that want to achieve the same goal of business satisfaction as you are. You can start from scratch! You don’t have to generate a lot of money so that your business can a flourish that fast or even achieve the bigger goals within a short time, it will time, but it’s really worth it. Every good entrepreneur you see out there started from scratch, they learnt what they have now along the way. You can also be a good one when you leverage on the best keys to success.
Innovation is so important in business, how you approach the market and how you execute your traction within your niche will make your account for the end results you have. This can be replicated to when you are doing a competitor analysis for your business.
When it comes to partnerships, sometimes the family might or might not be the right plug for you. However, having an open communication channel and understanding who you are in a business perspective can be one way of killing the shots that may arise as hindrances to business growth. The whole idea of cultivating a good soil for your entrepreneurship is really massive, therefore it is important to always incorporate biblical values into your business. Try to infuse Godly presence into your vision and mission, and also the way you are hiring, bring on board a team that has the right alignment with the rest of you, this is work spiritual culture. Putting your business in the presence of God will automatically make you innovative, focused on what you do something that your competitors will become unwilling to do. This is the strongest ground you can stand on when you want to have a steady and bumper growth in the entrepreneurial journey. Always staying focused on the things that you can control and the things that you can’t control let them go. At the same time it’s good to make worthwhile adjustments that infuse some Godly presence in your entrepreneurial journey.

The goal of establishing a kingdom coaching business is to help business owners set up systems that allow them to upscale their businesses and then prepare for succession and exit. This means providing them with the resources and support necessary for their business journey.
Building a successful kingdom coaching practice can be quite challenging. This is because in the beginning, most kingdom coaches go through a phase of uncertainty and self-doubt commonly known as the Imposter Syndrome where one may feel like they are not qualified enough to coach others. Herein lies the true meaning of working for the glory of God. No matter how inadequate we feel or how little qualified we are, God steps in and qualifies us.
David Robertson CEO and Founder of Growthpoint Coaching Co. says that his journey to building a successful coaching practice was filled with a lot of hurdles and failure until he realized that he had been running his businesses for the wrong purpose and it wasn’t until he started working for the glory of God that his coaching business grew to the success it is in now.
We know God works in mysterious ways and at some point in this journey to coaching success, David shut down his business for 18 months which meant his wife taking up financial responsibilities for all that time. It is here that David took his time to listen to God and he finally had a breakthrough!
Through it all, David says that he realized that in the midst of it all, it was not his business, his position as a coach or results that gave him significance but Christ did. And this opened up many doors for him and eventually got featured on Forbes as the number one on the article for an expert panel on business builders. After a few months the President of Forbes councils offered him and his company a coaching job which forced him and his family to move to Dallas in the middle of a pandemic where he has seen great success.
In conclusion, if you desire to have that successful coaching business, let God always be the source of provision. Allow yourself to be led by a King(Jesus) and success will be yours.

Living in Purpose.
Living in Purpose means aligning your values and beliefs with what truly matters to you.
On this podcast Chief Servant Officer Patrice Tsague , talks to Mr. Yannik Mckie, founder and center director of Living in Purpose.
Mr. Yannik Mckie, an expert on purpose and mental toughness says that mental toughness is the ability to be able to leverage pain for the benefit of purpose. Losing both his parents before turning 16 years old, Yannik got first-hand experience in learning how to turn obstacles into stepping stone.
As a young man, Yannik was struggling to cope with the effects of his father's extramarital affair. Trying to understand why God allowed him to go through such pain, he had difficulties trying to navigate his manhood and purpose.
It was only much later that he understood that within all of that aggravation was reason and purpose. At times we need to get to the reason and the thriving, attempting to avoid difficulties. He continues to sy that he understood that more often than not, it's really inside that torment that we will track down our most noteworthy degree of direction.
As a mental toughness coach, Yannik helps executives and entrepreneurs around the make better decisions in the midst of their challenges so that they can maximize their peace, productivity, and passion for life.
On that journey to find your purpose it is important to not lose your hope. Remember that God loves you and that your pain, whatever it is, can be leveraged for purpose. Let someone know you're struggling. Ask for help. Keep your hope alive. Do not suffer in silence. You are not alone.

Finish-A Personal Journey in Philanthropy
The M.J Murdock Charitable Trust was founded 47 years ago with a mission is to build relationships for a common good. They support the growth of Pacific Northwest nonprofits and their focus area Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington through grantmaking, enrichment programs, convenient strength in the region, education, social, spiritual, culture-based that are innovative and sustainable. So far, the trust has helped over 3000 organizations in the region.
Steve Moore, Executive Director of the M. J. Murdock Charitable Trust has been in the organization for 16 years and he says that over the years, the trust has worked to help organizations as they seek to better fulfill their mission and build their own capacity to fulfill that mission.
Having started his journey from the education sector from which the people are not known to be exactly flexible and innovative, Steve Moore says that his own experience with education made him an innovative educator. Because the Murdock Trust aligned with his values, he says he saw the potential because of the enormous impact at a moment in people's lives to be able to shape, form, and guide people and this led him to join the organization.
Murdock Trust helps companies write their grants and a full resource document “Writing Great Grants” is on the website. It basically tells you, here's the thing that foundations are looking for whenever they get a grant application.
Over the years the trust has helped many companies raise a lot of money and thus all begins with good stewardship over the years and stewardship and generosity go together. If you're a good steward, you're able to be more generous. Those are some twin principles the company operates from when we're making its investments, and they try to find not quick returns.
Steve adds that as a company, the Murdock Trust tries to be a good generous steward. Being generous means being able to distribute the resources by giving good grants. In this philanthropy journey, he says that there is an ecosystem of philanthropy where there are foundations that give while others receive.
He acknowledges that his transition to philanthropy was smooth because he had mentors to walk with him. As he finishes his journey in philanthropy, Steve Moore says that he will spend his next season encouraging and increasing and helping people as they seek to be philanthropic and contributing where necessary.
We, The Nehemiah Project wish Steve all the best as he finishes his journey in philanthropy.

Joan has recently partnered with the Nehemiah Project to minister a new course for writers called The Power of the Pen. At the moment, Joan is working with Chief Servant of the Nehemiah Project, Patrice Tsague on a book that he had previously published in 2009. This as we might call it is the true test of what can be expected of Victorious You Press as a new partner.
The book, Nothing But a Jar of Oil was previously published but together Victorious You Press and Patrice are working on a second edition to make it a best seller. According to Joan, the process of republishing a book starts with looking at previous reviews and carefully mapping out what can be done differently.
As an Author and Founder of Victorious You Press, Joan brings a fresh and innate enthusiastic outlook on writing and publishing that is contagious as she understands the power and impact of the pen as she coaches people to learn how to use their own words to create change. Over the years Joan has helped over 400 people publish their books.
Victorious You Press is driven by five core values that can be emulated. That is : “It is live. It is learn. It is love. It is lead. It is legacy.”
This means living each day in accordance to how God wants us to live, with impact. Learning because we're always students of our business. Loving because we build relationships with our clients. Leading because we give our clients skills and lastly is leading a legacy because everything that God has placed inside of us it is not just for us it is to impact those we come in contact with because of the great commission.

When emerging as a Kingdom business leader we often think that we are not good enough to realize the potential God has placed in us.
It is sometimes difficult for us to realize that we have the capability to become a Kingdom business leader. Due to society's limiting belief systems, we tend to compare ourselves with others rather than focus on our inner strengths. In order for us to fulfil our God-given purpose, we must understand our true identity and destiny.
Therefore, to emerge as a Kingdom business leader we need to step out of our comfort zones wisely and genuinely seek to be ourselves. It involves walking with God as you unlearn the false or wrong belief systems that have been ingrained by your environment or circumstances.
Your unique experiences in life will enable you to identify your gifts and talents as you walk with God through this process. These insights will guide you to serve others and to honour God as an emerging Kingdom business leader.
It does not matter what background one has in order to be a Kingdom business leader. It is often those circumstances, situations, challenges and failures that we overcome that become our gift to the world in the form of valuable lessons.
Emerging as a Kingdom business leader requires courage as it calls one to be transparent and honest throughout the process. This may involve wearing the lessons you have gained from your mistakes on your sleeves consistently. Therefore, it is not for the faint-hearted and it requires a thick skin to be a Kingdom business leader.
However, the Word of God gives us encouragement throughout the journey of emerging as a Kingdom business leader. God is faithful to fulfil His Word and we can lean on His Holy Spirit to guide and empower us through all the stages required for one to emerge as a Kingdom business leader.
There is always a wilderness experience in the journey of life and business, as every emerging business leader can attest to. The process of being formed, moulded, and shaped is scary and demanding, but we also discover our core values, which line up with God's purpose for our lives and businesses.
Therefore, it is important to stay connected to a community throughout the process of emerging as a Kingdom business leader. The encouragement and support one gets from like-minded individuals is paramount to one’s success in business or life for that matter.
When we understand who we are and what we are meant for, we can apply our gifts and talents to serve God more effectively. Our God is a God of excellence. Life is full of challenges, especially for entrepreneurs. We are therefore encouraged to stay the course as Kingdom business leaders as demonstrated in 2 Timothy 1:7 - walk in Love in God's strength.

The Chief Servant of the Year Award is an honorary award given to outstanding employees of the Nehemiah Project International Ministries.
Every year, the Nehemiah Project International Ministries has a Chief Servant of the Year award, which is an award that the staff gets to choose from their peers who among the team members exemplify the values of the organization the most based on their work output, and so there's a rating that goes around the team and then people sort of identity who they want to select. The winner is then awarded $500.
For the year 2021, Poh Sim Saw and Christopher Ooi won the Chief Servant of the Year Awards and Poh Sim Saw who has won the Chief Servant of the Year four times for the five years she has been in the company begins by stating that one of the most important factors that determine the success of an organization, company, or just an individual, is having the ability to adapt to a culture. This does not just mean having awards but having different people on the team and having a good attitude towards them. This helps you interact easily with your colleagues who come from different cultures.
Christopher Ooi on the other hand says that everyone is different and embracing the difference is important so as to learn new things and be able to adapt accordingly helps one work diligently and that is how he got to become Chief Servant of the year.
Developing a positive attitude toward your work and good workplace culture with the help of God has a direct impact on your performance and has an impact on the employee morale around you. It is obvious that workers with positive attitudes perform better than others. As a result, they are easily recognized for awards like the Chief Servant of the Year Awards
Always be a dynamic person, who can be relied on easily. Reliability is very important, in a workplace environment, no matter your position. This helps a lot since you know the job will get done and it will be executed in the best way possible. Striving to be different is an “A-Team” agenda for every year, therefore you should always be on the march towards this and maybe win the Chief Servant of the Year Award!

Christian Employers Alliance is a legal company that works to ensure that the Christian conservative organizational movement reflects the diversity of Christ's body in this kingdom.
After coming across a roadblock that required both faith-based and non-faith-based organizations to pay for abortion and abortion-inducing drugs, Christian employers banded together to form the Christian Employers Alliance to act as a voice for Christian employers.
When it comes to values and policy, Christian Employers Alliance is the voice of those Christian and biblical values in the policy space and the legal arena.
The Christian Employers Alliance also serves as a means of protection for Christian employers in a world where opposing the dominant ethos is fraught with hostility. In today's society, Christians are frequently reviled for upholding biblical principles. They are not understood, so Christian Employers Alliance stands in that legal space and protects the rights of its members, allowing them to remain anonymous and protected from harsh judgment.
The Christian Employers Alliance adds value to employers seeking to reflect God in their businesses not only as a legal organization but also by providing practical tools to help them feel more confident. This is accomplished by bringing together Christian employers to protect religious freedom while also providing opportunities for employees, businesses, and communities to thrive.
Shannon Royce, Chief Executive Officer of the Christian Employers Alliance, claims that even while representing the needs of the Christian workforce, the Christian Employers Alliance represents Christians fairly without looking down on the needs and beliefs of other religions.
One of the things that this company does, depending on the size of the company, is that they have a health plan that serves the larger members, but they are working on creating health plans for members with 50 to 100 employees and even those with fewer employees to better serve them.
Having said that, the Nehemiah Project International Ministries is partnering with Christian Employers Alliance for a Religious Freedom Forum for Christian employees to educate its members on how to preserve and protect their religious freedom, as well as techniques to avoid falling into legal trappings.

At work in as Heaven: One CEO’s journey to make Sunday matter to Tuesday, a book by Scott Ryser is based on what Scott has seen God do in His business rather than theory, revelation, or study.
While at work, Scott has largely focused on the challenges of living out his faith every day and . In the process of starting his company, Scott named it Yakabod, which means "God's glory," posing the question, "Is it even possible for a business to give God glory?"
Most entrepreneurs struggle to strike a balance between work and God, which is where At Work as in Heaven comes in to assist and support them. It is an engrossing story about Scott's decades-long quest to discover this particular thing, and what he learned through the ups and downs, feast and victory, twist and turn, could very well change your company and your Tuesday as well.
This book contains a practical guide to assist Christian business leaders who are attempting to live out their faith at work, a paradigm shifting approach to Christian marketplace ministry, and a transparent story driven business wisdom that benefits those of our faith perspective.
According to Scott Ryser, building or sustaining a business in God's ways begins with an intentionality to resolve and shift accordingly. This entails shifting from doing things with God to doing things for God.
Every entrepreneur's journey should make Sunday matter on Tuesday, just as it does in heaven. Normally, we hear about Sunday on Monday, but what difference does it make on Tuesday? We all know that Tuesday is just another ordinary day, but we must still have faith in our work. It is not just doing church stuff in the office, but also working in a way that glorifies God and being able to partner with Him in everything you do, that we as Christians isolate ourselves.

Insurance as a Resource.
Kenya’s insurance sector is ranked third in Africa with a penetration rate of 2.8%.
This means the insurance uptake remains low compared to other economies. Pauline Mwihia, CEO of Amro Insurance Brokers, an insurance company in Kenya says that this is largely contributed to Kenyans lacking sensitization and myths such as insurance belonging to a certain group of financially stable people.
This however is not true as insurance is affordable and anyone is fit to get it. There are different types of insurance suited for different purposes and it works by spreading the risk of a loss among many people which lowers the risk for all.
Rethinking insurance in Kenya, therefore, means educating Kenyans and Africa as a whole about insurance and showing the people the value of being insured. Some Christians may believe that being insured is going against God’s will but the Bible tells us to be wise as serpents and gentle as doves. Taking insurance is a wise thing to do as it ensures that should anything happen to you, those left behind are well taken care of.
Insurance brokers need to play a role in ensuring that people are well educated on insurance policies and how they affect them so that their expectations from benefits to what can be compensated and even what their responsibilities are as clients are clear from the beginning. This also helps debunk the myth that insurance is a scam which is not true as it depends on the insurance company.
To ensure you are not scammed, one needs to take time to do their research about the company they want to take their insurance from. This means starting by checking whether the company is registered or is validly certified.
Remember, just because you have faith doesn’t mean you don’t need insurance.

Innovative growth entails the production of more goods and services, resulting in higher wages and profits for businesses.
The Nehemiah Project International Ministries, which has E.community centers around the world run by local business owners, is built on innovative growth. For a fee, these centers offer training, coaching, and access to capital programs. However, the fees charged by the centers are not affordable to all entrepreneurs. In this regard, the Nehemiah Project International Ministries has a scholarship fund that helps entrepreneurs who cannot afford the fees that are charged.
One of the entrepreneurs who benefited from the scholarship fund was Yamil Rosales, the center director of Nehemiah Project International Ministries Mexico. As a result, he was able to expand and hire people, who were in need of jobs, a true testimony to innovative growth.
Growth begins with ideas and progresses to plans and structures, all of which necessitate a significant amount of effort. Aside from that, growth entails motivating and inspiring the people who work for a company. When employees feel valued, they are more likely to work for the company's benefit, which leads to increased growth.
The Nehemiah Community entrepreneurs have ensured that others benefit greatly from the innovative growth approach because it has enabled them to create jobs for those outside the community at a time when many people are losing their jobs.
Innovative growth is characterized by an increase in the impact and influence of a business on those around it, and in order for it to be fully realized, it must spread across the economy and benefit businesses of all sizes and sectors.

The process of revitalizing Kingdom Business in Bulgaria began with a promise from Jesus, who came to restore what had been lost.
Arman and Petya Lalane, Directors of the Bulgarian E-Community Center, begin by stating that their mission is to develop leaders in all aspects of society, not just the church.
Every believer has a divine purpose and destiny, and every believer is called to make an impact in society within their sphere of influence. Because we are the living testimony of Christ, we are called as believers to influence society with who we are.
One of the areas we are called to influence is business. When we are equipped to carry the gospel into the business world as Christian entrepreneurs, we influence non-believers to salvation, resulting in the transformation of families and societies at large.
Many kingdom businesses have been shaken as a result of the challenges Bulgaria is facing, such as the pandemic, corruption, brain drain, and a lack of opportunities within the country, and it has taken a journey of faith to revitalize them.
To address the challenges, more Christians must build more kingdom businesses as Christian entrepreneurs. This will result in the retention of talent within the country as well as an increase in value ethics in accordance with best practices.
The Nehemiah Project has been assisting kingdom entrepreneurs by providing courses, trainings, and resources on how to be better stewards of their businesses and how to combine ministry and business to start or expand their businesses.
Revitalizing Kingdom Businesses may take a lot of time, courage, and faith, but it doesn't matter if you have to go it alone in order to make that much needed impact. When you are in God's will and in the right place, God can make you prosper regardless of where you are, and when you prosper, others will prosper through you.

Giving Tuesday
As the Chief Servant Officer Patrice Tsague prepares to weight in on 'Giving Tuesday' and its implications here are extracts of this week's devotional titled "Joy of Giving":
"Giving should be something we do out of joy, not out of obligation. Giving should be a natural response of gratefulness and an expression of joy for who God is and what He has done for us. Unfortunately, many Kingdom business stewards give out of obligation, guilt, or to receive tax benefits rather than out of joy." How do you give with joy?
First give yourself to the Lord – You cannot give with joy if you have not first given yourself to the Lord. Giving is a response to a personal and intimate relationship with the Lord. God does not need what you have, it is all His anyway. He needs you.
Give to those people or things you love – "For God so love the world that He gave us His only begotten Son." (John 3:16) Giving is a tangible demonstration of your love for someone or a cause.
Give even in trials – Giving is not something you do when things are going well but it is a lifestyle. The habit of giving is not developed in good times but in bad times.
Give to purpose, not to need – Need eradicates resources while purpose eradicates need. Giving is not what solves problems; rather it is purpose that solves problems. Your giving should target those people and organizations who are working to eradicate the need you are passionate about.
Give to good ground – Giving is an investment in eternity so you must ensure that the ground is good so that it can yield the maximum eternal returns (Mark 4:8). Make sure that the person or organization you are giving to will carry out the expected mission with proper accountability.
Give out of what you have – Never give that which has been obligated to other things such as rent, car payments, bills, etc… Other than tithes, which is an obligation, giving should always be out of discretionary money. If you want to increase your giving then either increase your income without increasing your obligated expenses or decrease your obligated expenses.
Give as unto the Lord – Giving is never to people or things but rather, it is to God. Although it is administered by people and organizations, you must focus on the ultimate receiver: God. No matter what the people or organization do with your gift, God will honor your heart. This ensures that your giving is unconditional.

The Clark County Prayer breakfast will feature “Our American Story” by our Chief Servant Patrice Tsague on Thursday November 4th 2021 between 7-9am Pacific. “Our American Story” is about the stories of immigrants who came to the United States of America as a land of opportunities to reach the American Dream.
The Clark County Prayer breakfast was started twenty years ago to engage people as an honoring event for America’s civic leaders, first responders, wounded warriors and active military. Every year, this event features a special guest and an honored citizen who is part of the community and engages the community by serving and helping those who need help. In addition to the keynote speakers who are invited fir the Clark County Prayer breakfast, the event also focuses on its citizens.
Our guest, James Autry states that although the event is not purely evangelical, the Clark County Prayer breakfast opens and ends with prayer as a tradition. He continued to say that in the Bible, God told Jeremiah to pray for the Israelites before they went to battle in Babylon into captivity for seventy years. Prayer is a foundational part of everything.
As people gather for the prayer breakfast, they should purpose to pray for revival of the government, the constitution and the country as a whole. The Clark County prayer meeting will help mobilize people to become reformers who will facilitate the transformation of the city.

Using paid media to accelerate growth can be used in digital marketing to make targeted, relevant and helpful advertising.
According to Kenjie Kirimi, Co-Founder of Bawa Connect, a company whose aim is to sterilize the digital environment by providing wholesome material, social media may be utilized as either a social or a business tool. It is a location where people spend a lot of time creating relationships and connecting as a social tool. This provides the commercial side of social media in that, due to the large amount of individuals that utilize social media, one can easily use the space to reach their target market. When using sponsored media, it is necessary to relocate where the attention is focused in order to have the desired impact.
People are offered free access to social media and social media technologies in exchange for their personal data. Digital marketers use this information to gather information and personalize advertisements to the interests of their social media consumers. This is what defines digital marketing as being both targeted and relevant.
In today's world, digital marketing is preferred because it provides real-time data on who is visiting your social media pages, their age, location, and hobbies. Social media companies employ algorithms to provide up relevant material based on information gathered about what people consume on a personal level.
It is easy for digital marketers to develop these targeted ads because the social space provides all of the information needed to understand the audiences of various platforms in various industries. When you have all of this, creating social media plans is simple, even if you aren't physically engaging with your customers.
Because most consumers are found online and it is simpler to communicate with each other and businesses as the digital era progresses, businesses must embrace social media in order to survive. An internet presence enables entrepreneurs to maximize their potential by utilizing either organic or paid reach.
Paid media may help businesses acquire the visibility and conversion they need to get the leads they need to grow. Employing paid media does not always imply spending to be able to advertise, but rather using other methods to help your business grow, such as Search Engine Optimization.
Remember, this is the consumer's age, and the client lives on digital platforms.

Storytelling for Change.
Storytelling is a powerful tool when it comes to building a reputable brand using a successful model to tell the business stories.
Mr. Yamil Rosales. Founder of Sound City Academy, says that spending more time on what we are good at helps us maximize our potential. He goes on to say that it is not always about the money but being a good steward in what we are called by God to do.
Most people associate digital marketing with social media, but it is actually a set of principles and tools that assist business owners develop relationships with their customers. The most effective tool is storytelling. Entrepreneurs may use storytelling to build relationships with potential customers and provide them a real-life experience.
Digital marketing is a technique for a firm to demonstrate what it has to offer in terms of solving market challenges. It assists entrepreneurs in transforming their businesses and although the market is swamped with marketing materials, choosing to conduct interactions with customers through storytelling to give value to what they desire makes a difference.
Knowing our purpose is the first step in any endeavor. And purpose is about accepting yourself as you are and attempting to improve yourself and make a difference where you are. In this situation, storytelling is being utilized to mold lives and persuade others to become better people. Entrepreneurs can use storytelling to communicate the impact their enterprises have on the market.
Even as we consider storytelling as a change agent in our businesses, we must first define our purpose and match it with our business objectives.

The Art and Science of Copywriting can be defined as the process of producing convincing marketing and promotional materials that drive people to take some sort of action, such as making a purchase, clicking on a link, or giving to a cause.
Linda Parker cofounder of Glinda Creative, a virtual agency that specializes in branding strategies, graphic design, logos, advertising, copywriting, messaging, and website design says that copywriting is an art because writing is a gift that some individuals have and comprehend better than others. It's also a science because it necessitates a great deal of trial and error, and it improves with practice.
Copywriting involves a lot of learning. Every day there are new writing methods and skills to be learned for one to keep perfecting themselves at this science. This is because every day there are numerous copies we come across, each with a different and unique style of writing that we may implement in our copywriting endeavors.
Copywriting is a great complement to digital marketing because it allows firms to engage with their customers on a more personal level. It enables marketing through the use of both technology and the internet. It uses traditional methods while also incorporating elements of the internet.
Many individuals confuse content writing and copywriting when they are two completely different things. Content writing can be found on blogs and emails, and while it may inspire readers and has substantive value to readers and prospective customers, it lacks a call to action for the reader to take action. Copywriting on the other hand is persuasive, has a call to action and is measurable.
Businesses have multiple client profiles. Clients come in a variety of shapes and sizes. This means that when it comes to copywriting, there is no such thing as a "one size fits all" strategy. A copywriter must use an identity approach when writing. Understanding that your message will be received by a variety of people will help you write content that converts. Another essential to conversion is to use a "comforting" language. People will feel safer if they feel they can trust you as a copywriter.
Understanding the audience through social media analytics aids in the creation of a high-converting copy. It aids in the measurement and adjustment of content. It helps you save time and energy.

Making God number one in your business is a way for any Biblical Entrepreneur to praise God. It involves dedicating the people you employ and the clients you serve to God.
Making God #1 in Your Business author Maureen Kendall believes it sometimes takes a lot of hard times and lessons for entrepreneurs to realize they need to surrender their enterprises to God and make Him number one.
God shines through us in our weakest and lowest moments, letting us realize that He is in charge. When we call on Him, He assists us in focusing our vision and directing us in a new direction that will help us attain our objectives. He bestows our talents and abilities to us so that we can honor Him.
God helps us gain and achieve more without breaking a sweat when we put Him first in our businesses and stop stressing about the direction of the enterprises.
Making God the most important person in your life begins with a search for Him. All of these other things will be added when we seek God first. The calm and joy that comes with handing up your business to God are indescribable. This makes it easier for company owners to use their businesses to lead people to Jesus.
Always keep in mind that God made everything and that everything belongs to Him. Even your company. It was a demonstration of God's strength when He granted you that business. Our sense of ownership over our company does not represent the divine nature that God has given us. As stewards, we should be deliberate in our business practices.
Maureen Kendall goes on to say that educating children that everything belongs to God instills intentionality and responsibility in them, as well as training them to prioritize God in everything they do. As kids get older, they will learn to be appreciative in this manner.
When we put God first in our enterprises, we recognize that we don't have to shoulder all of the business's burdens. When God takes charge, our tension, worry, and difficulties vanish.
Making God number one in your business assures you of a solid foundation.

I Am School Of Music launch in Kenya
The mission of the I Am School of Music is to redeem music and restore it to the purpose for which it was created by God.
Allison Wilkinson, CEO and Founder of I Am School of Music, believes that music was created to bring people together, to benefit us, and to praise God and this led her to start the I Am School of Music.
I Am School of Music is dedicated to ensuring that anyone who wants to learn how to make or perform music does so in a way that allows them to express themselves, connect with God, and glorify Him.
I Am School of Music is dedicated to ensuring that anyone who wants to learn how to make or perform music does so in a way that allows them to express themselves, connect with God, and glorify Him.
Looking back at the history of music, one had to be confined to certain attributes in order to be successful and this hindered the musical development of most people. However, breaking these hindrances and barriers will help us be confident enough to use our musical talents and abilities to worship God and connect with each other.
Using God’s gifts in the right way produces good things in us. When we create music the way God intended, we are transformed into fearless beings who are made to be at ease with who we are. When we develop our musical capabilities, we grow into persons with a wide range of abilities, allowing us to do whatever we desire with confidence.
The I Am School of Music was launched in Kenya to a strong response, with school administrators and music teachers providing encouraging feedback and responses throughout the session. Despite the fact that the road to launch was not without its difficulties, we are reminded to always submit our conflicts and worries to the Lord. We will be able to concentrate on the eventual aim in this manner.

Building a lasting legacy entails having a long-term impact on your community or the world at large, and family is critical in this regard.
Many couples start businesses together, and this is an important unit to have if you want to leave a lasting legacy. This isn't to suggest that divorced couples can't leave legacies; it just means that doing so in the context of a family makes it bigger, better, and more successful.
Succession is essential when it comes to developing something that will last. The ability to effectively pass on whatever you're working on to the following generation. Succession refers to individuals who will inherit the business and pass it on to the next generation, and the success of this depends on who they look up to outside of the family.
The people we look up to as role models have a big influence on our ability to develop something that has an impact on the community. Having positive role models can assist us in developing a clear vision and direction for what we want to leave as a legacy.
In order to leave a lasting legacy, the foundation on which we construct it must be strong enough to serve future generations even if the continued legacy shifts its goals to adequately serve its purpose. The changes, on the other hand, must occur while maintaining the underlying ideals on which they were based.
Building a great organization also takes more than having a great leader. A solid foundation should be established institutionally rather than by an individual. Also, it is about more than just making money. The legacy can last longer if it is founded on a core concept and purpose. Although we may desire a specific workplace culture, getting there requires a lot of trial and error. This means that, while developing systems, maintain what works and discard what doesn't.
When planning for succession, we must ensure that those who succeed will be excellent stewards of the legacy we leave for future generations.

Kingdom Business Tour Review
Starting a unique and unusual business that is considered “unconventional” in one’s communal setting can be quite a challenge.
Rodney & Angela Kihenjo Founders of Pet Paradise, a kingdom business that offers grooming, play dates and boarding services for household pets state that having the courage and patience to build such a business from scratch in terms of getting customers and asserting yourself as a business owner is what leads to the success of the business.
Certain factors can motivate one to pursue their business goals one of them being a strong support system when it comes to family, friends, or other people you associate with. However, the passion is not entirely fueled by external factors, loving what you are doing and owning it no matter the circumstances enables you thrive even in uncertainty. Apart from the skills and support needed to give life to a new business idea, prayer is another stronger tool.
Often times we tend to feel like all good business ideas have been taken but when we pray and establish strong faith in God He will show us our purpose and place in this world. The peace and certainty that comes with praying enables us turn dreams into reality. After establishing a unique kingdom business and involving God throughout the process, we are sure of a breakthrough beyond human understanding. This same business that is considered unique or unconventional can be used to change people’s perceptions about certain services that are not so welcomed communally.
Having visually appealing value to outstanding operational procedures greatly propels the business to a better position in the market. We can all agree that it is not all the time that things go the way we intended them to and sometimes we may hit a rock bottom but having mentors to guide us throughout the journey can help ease the pressure and they may help us get through the toughest of times.

International Business Plan Competition Winner
It is said that beginnings are the hardest part of growth.
For the first time ever, Kenya has won the business plan competition two times in a row with Rina Hicks winning the International Business Plan Competition. Although Kenya now holds three winners, this is the first back-to-back victory for the team. Rina Hicks, Operations Director of Faida Investment Bank and 2021 Business Plan Winner tells us her career journey and the impact of being a Biblical Entrepreneur student in the course of winning the competition.
Although sometimes we want to explore our full potential, we tend to hold back to explore and see other people’s strengths before we can really see how good we are. This however does not mean we cannot achieve our goals. The realization of our dreams comes when we truly and fully know our identity and purpose. When we know our identity and know our purpose, we realize our full potential with clarity and without conflict.
As leaders, it is essential to create a trustworthy and transparent system that enables us to create, motivate and strengthen other people’s abilities. Together with customizing a coaching strategy, incorporating an A-Team creates winners effortlessly. When all the strategies and systems are put in place, winning becomes intentional and not accidental. Human beings are tailored in a way that we are constantly in survival mode instead of trying to find our purpose and the direction God wants us to take in order to fulfill that purpose set for us. But when we are in a constant state of stress and anxiety, we focus on the stressful situations and it blinds us from seeing our purpose and helping others find out theirs.

International Business Plan Competition Recap
As part of the Biblical Entrepreneurship (BE) Program, the International Business Plan Competitions bring together several BE Students selected to represent their respective countries and regions. Each student presents their ten-minute summary plan presentation at the annual International BE Business Plan Competition held during Nehemiah Week.
We had quite an interesting session learning about redemptive approaches to capital raising and business investment through the competition. At the competition, the winner from 2020, Nina Mutegi, would return with the trophy that will, later on, be awarded to the 2021 International Business Plan Competition Winner.
This year’s competition had four competitors Rina Hicks(Kenya, Africa), Steve Harris(Australia, Asia), Denitsa Yeroteeva(Bulgaria, Europe) and Francie Wilson(U.S.A, North America) pitch their business plans for a grand prize of 5000 U.S Dollars and the People’s Choice Award that comes with 1000 U.S Dollars prize whereby the audience voted for their favorite business idea.
Owing to the fact that every year’s competition is a bit tight, after successful training, this year’s competitors demonstrated their understanding of creating profitable and sustainable business which was quite impressive. For every entrepreneur and business owner, it is essential to be well conversant with every aspect of your business. From your growth plan to marketing and many other aspects which are drawn from real-life case studies.
From sustainable food supply to financial literacy to children’s support to women’s financial consultancy, the four contestants pitched their ideas and the audience voted for whom they thought had the greatest idea and Rina Hicks from Kenya with her financial literacy project won the People’s Choice Award and 1000 U.S Dollars. The winner of the grand prize was announced the next day. Knowing your purpose and having a desire to build a Kingdom Business propels one in the best direction.
Investors Forum Recap | Nehemiah Week 2021
The fourth day began with an awesome worship session followed by an uplifting devotion from Pastor Gabriel Oleko who talked about “The Protocol of Success in the Time of Crisis”. There are 3P’s of protocol to get through any crisis you might be facing. Promise. Plan. Perseverance. This day marked the Kingdom Investors Forum where the investors' network was established to match qualified Biblical Entrepreneurs with trusted Kingdom Impact Investors to finance all of the selected entrepreneur's needs including furnishings, software, fitness, education, and transportation.
Hosted by Robert Fukui, this year we had four kingdom entrepreneurs, that is: Nina Mutegi, Pastor Gabriel Oleko, and Malalaniaina Ratianaharisoa pitch their ideas to a panel of investors for capital. Other than that, a panel of Kingdom Entrepreneurs shared their insights on how to Thrive Through Crisis. On the panel, was Robin Geertz, John Thiong’o, and Chuck Proudfit who gave their take on how to thrive through crisis.
John’s take was one must have proper economic drivers to be able to get through crisis. Robin on the other hand advised businesspeople to do what they have to do in order to survive the crisis even if it means cutting costs and adjusting agreements. Chuck on the other hand drove his point home with three words, protect, pivot and pioneer. As people’s needs change marketing conditions need to improve change in order for one’s business to stay relevant. Take an example of the emergence of the Covid-19 Pandemic.
So many businesses struggled to stay afloat and eventually ended up closing because the owners were not creative enough to shift according to the market needs. Innovation helps one easily identify people’s problems and solve them no matter how big or small they are. Another tool that can help one stay afloat is an economic engine that helps you with pricing to be able to save for a crisis and stay efficient. It also helps fuels your business. According to Mick Owens, the speaker of the day, knowing your gifts and knowing how to use them help you stand for what you believe in even in a crisis. Following the Biblical principles to financial success encourages us to hold what we have with loose hands because we are STEWARDS NOT OWNERS.
Nehemiah Week 2021 Day 3 Recap
The third day began with a devotion session from Pastor Anthony Moore who talked about “Living with Limited Resources”. Sometimes entrepreneurs experience a sense of lack but even so, listening to God’s voice makes us understand that even in scarcity we can move forward. God does not intend for us to not have what we need in life but sometimes that lack directs us to listen to God’s direction and allowing Him to take us to where we will not lack. Chief Servant Patrice Tsague touched on “How to Thrive in Crisis” and stated that our mindset affects how we speak and talk to ourselves. When we are focused on listening to what God has for us, we will be able to create breakthroughs and through the right mindset directed from God, we will be able to create what we need with what we have. Dr.Shelette Steward talked about Pivoting which is the change of strategy without changing your vision. When pivoting, start with your strong points which include the kind of relationships. Pivoting helps one pursue prosperity and not profitability. Andy Mason, another great speaker touched on “How to Find Hope in Crazy Times” stating listening to God’s voice enables us to invite hope in times of crisis. Then came Jeniffer and Tom Mears who talked about “Thriving in Serving in Love” the key takeaway being that we should look for relationships that protect our missions. Shae Bynes concluded the speaker’s session with “Thriving in Grace over Grind”. Grace is God’s divine favor. It is only with God’s grace that we can be able to operate successfully. When we have the Grace of God, everything else is a resource. We are told to always seek God’s Grace and not idolize work too much. Take your plans and seek God’s heart for them then you will experience success even in the midst of crisis.
Nehemiah Week 2021 Day 2 Recap
The second day of the event Nehemiah Week-Thrive Through Crisis began with a devotion from Pastor Noella Lumande whose topic was “It’s Time”. He spoke about not just sitting there during a crisis but doing something to deliver yourself from your plight. During a crisis, our feelings tend to take over and control what we say, and sometimes we may not necessarily mean it. We however need to proclaim our strengths and not our failures because the power of life and death comes out of our words.
Declare God’s promises instead. Inherent to crisis is risk, which determines our mindset. We learn from making risks which provide both sides of learning. Knowing your purpose is key in making risks because once you know your identity, risks will be less scary. Systematically identifying the risks, openly talking about the risks, and building the required systems to be able to risk provide a cushion in case anything goes sideways. Remember that uncertainty will always be there, it is constant.
As a leader or business owner, one needs to accept the occurrence of a crisis but have the strength to stick to their principles and know their values no matter the looming loss. In matters of identity and destiny, discovering what God wants you to do pushes you in the right direction. Even in crisis, having a purpose and knowing your purpose, you will be able to see through God’s assignment for you.
Remember that your assignment is not your identity. Crisis involves financial implications, from loss of jobs to investors leaving but you should be able to stay true to the alignment of personal investments and assets. God takes us through difficult situations for us to be able to know that He is in control and that we can trust Him through all. Stay true to your mission statement!
Risk Worth Taking | Thriving in Uncertainty
Nehemiah Week is an eventful week designed to equip, inspire and help entrepreneurs come together to reflect on how God is impacting their businesses with this year’s theme being THRIVE THROUGH CRISIS. On the first day of Nehemiah Week, a deep and personal worship session by Pastor Mamie Lumande kick-started the day followed by a devotion led by Pastor Anthony Moore who held an insightful and highly relatable talk about “The Fear of Failure”. Another exciting part of this day was an interesting virtual tour to some Kingdom Business Centers some of which have faced crises before and learned to thrive through it all. In this session, we learned quite a lot from the Kingdom Entrepreneurs who shared their journey from the conception of their business ideas to the birth of their businesses and how they have been able to implement de-risking methodology within their strategic planning. Understanding the intentionality of a business enables one to identify with their purpose and helps one bring the gospel of Christ through the marketplace. This way, one will be able to bring more people to Christ. To be able to navigate through a crisis and overcome it, one needs a Global Positioning System (G.P.S) comprising of relationships, mindset, tools and resources. No matter where one is or the type of crisis they are facing, having the right relationships with God and man they can and will be able to flourish through it. To sum up, we had a Kingdom Entrepreneur, Ivan Papish narrated about the impact of the Nehemiah Project in Eastern Europe.
Thriving in Creating an Economic Engine
Thriving in creating an economic engine. An economic engine is a system that supports or sustains the infrastructure of a company. It is what enables a company to work out their financial needs in a way that money generated goes out of the company instead of giving money into the company through donations. This is called Collaborative Laboratories also known as Collaboratories.
Chuck Proudfit, Founder and President of AtWork on Purpose hosted by Chief Servant Patrice Tsague, shares his story about how he created an economic engine that funds ministries on a sustaining basis without going out to ask for donations from revenue-generating companies. He says that although at some point donations are part of resourceful funding, one can opt for seed capital that will be self-sustaining on their own.
For successful entrepreneurship, one has to create economic engines with more than successful business startups like local churches which might be quite a challenge because churches are reluctant to accept entrepreneurship as a pillar of the church. It is also hard to find a congregation that believes entrepreneurship can also be a spiritual endeavor.
Creating a successful economic engine involves both visible and invisible components. The invisible being the small unseen but very essential components while the visible components are what attracts your target market. What it looks like on the outside. It is about how you are making the industry better. One should translate a visionary idea into practical terms that a marketplace will get excited about.
Creativity and innovation help push one to be better in terms of being more imaginative in order to have something good to offer to the market and be able to sustain it. Economic engines are used to fund entrepreneurial ventures.

Biblical entrepreneurship and job creation in Kenya are growing so fast and many entrepreneurs are coming up and seeing what they can build is such a blessing. Mr. Kitonga, currently the Country Director in Kenya, shares that every day is an education day and he doesn't dwell so much on current wins or failures. He is one man who has been giving his best and country the competitor who won the business plan competition came from Kenya and he gives all thanks to God and to the amazing team that he works together with. Frank says that failure is usually a learning point and that when you fail, do not let it go to your head. Instead, pick up the lessons and use them as a learning point. There is so much potential in Kenya and I do believe that the work we are doing down here is going to put Kenya out there and hopefully even open doors for Africa because that is the goal. Frank believes that Africa is capable of doing awesome things and he believes that Africa as a whole needs to be bold and do everything like they only have today because God has already given them grace. Kenya is looking at launching programs in this second half of the year one of them being Women In Business in Kenya. This is huge and considering that most winners have been women, this will be a great forum for them and the women in the country. Great things will happen all we have to do is to keep working on everything we do but most importantly trust God. US Country Business Plan Competition is one that covers a great region in America and so far has done so well this year. Wendie Klem who is the North America regional director says that this whole thing has been God because it is him who has given her the grace to accomplish all these. She adds that, during this process, she's been able to work with entrepreneurs who are in various stages of their businesses that are from discovery till they get to a place of succession and this gives her so much joy. Entrepreneurship is a continuous process and one thing that never grows old is that it is a continuous learning process plus you investing. It may look hard since risks are involved but then the beauty is you will win some and lose some and that is completely okay. Risks are part of the journey and they do bring so many lessons. Debrah says that it is okay to say no to opportunities if you feel that they don't fit with what you intend to do. In the end, be proud that you fully understand your purpose and continue working on things that align with your purpose. For this class to have gotten to this point, the trainers have put in the work plus seeing people come together to learn how they can bring kingdom businesses is so fulfilling to watch and it feels encouraging. As you go about work whether you are working for someone or you have a business, give it your best and remember that your instructions come from God above hence the need to put in all the work.

For transformation to be done, you have to transform everything from the mountain of finances and economics first. For Arman and Petya, the goal was to build biblical entrepreneurship that would impact the economy of Bulgaria and the nation as a whole. They add that this was important to them because as much as the economy of Bulgaria runs at the moment, it is outsourcing everything and they would love to change that. For them the people that work for them are not really employees, instead, they are more of people who are sharing the vision and are going to help them reach their business goals. Kaloyan, part of this Business plan competition, says that he's grateful that each of them is connected through this Nehemiah Project and they feel that they are part of something bigger. He adds that it is the constant reminder and feeling that God is there throughout the whole course. Arman and Petya share that this is a huge milestone for them, but they owe it all to God for giving them grace all through. They say that they would love to see more people go through the program and in return give back to the community and Bulgaria as a whole.

The E-Community Global Forum is open to everyone but the beauty is if you are a silver, gold, or diamond member, you get to attend it at no cost. The theme was about taking dominance and being victorious in the things that you do and in the panel were amazing people from around the world who got to talk about their areas and even answer questions. Mme. Zamana Kinkela attended this forum and she is also the director of the e-community center in Congo. She says that this was an amazing experience and getting to share ideas with different people during focus group discussions and also listening to the panelists made it all worth it. Mme. Kinkela also talked about the disruptions that the recent volcano has caused to the people of Goma and how she decided to help. She says that when the volcano first happened six years ago she felt that they should something and that is why she's all out trying to raise funds to help those affected. On some days especially during this pandemic, we might be tempted to give up but do not there is a reason why you are still holding on. This statement might be difficult for entrepreneurs but then, believe me, you will rise above all these because God is on your side.

When taking dominance there are days that you will need to be aggressive but on some days all you need is to let God be God. Mr. Dustin Lively of the DDS, 333 Dental Care shares that he always wanted to be in the dental sector though at some point it got exhausting and all he wanted was for God to tell him what to do next. In the process, he came across the Biblical Entrepreneurship course which has so far changed his life. Mr. Lively says that in dentistry school, no one teaches you about business so when he started his dental sector he didn't know what to do. He adds that the biblical entrepreneurship class opened his mind o what exactly happens in the business world and at the same time impacted him with ways of doing business God's way. Life before Biblical entrepreneurship was overwhelming and Mr. Lively constantly worried about how he would do things all he knew is that he wanted God to take the lead. On the journey to taking dominance, it is bound to get lonely but you shouldn't be worried because those are the moments you are bound to hear God. In reality, it is not lonely, it will always be you and God.

Taking dominance in the financial industry wasn't the plan in the beginning. It is something that developed as a result of me doing what I loved. Mr. David Witter, CEO, and founder of Financial Harvest Wealth Advisors says that before venturing into finance, he was an engineer by profession and on a daily basis he would do designs for various projects. He adds that the problem was that he didn't really see the results of what he was doing and there was a feeling deep within him to do something in line with God's purpose for him. Having grown with his mother and seeing her fear making financial decisions, he decided to study finance to be able to help his mother, and just like that he realized he enjoyed doing it. Years later he shares that he has learned lessons along the way but most importantly known that it is important to stand by your company values when dealing with clients. The truth is sometimes clients will want you to do things their way which sometimes goes against your values. Let them know you can't do it even though it is the hardest thing to do. Mr. Witter says that it is important to protect your employees being it from clients or them worrying about their next paycheck. When they are completely covered then you are sure of them doing their best when it comes to delivery. When it comes to taking dominance in the financial industry you have to fully understand what you doing because, at the end of the day, your convictions become your clients' confidence.

Taking dominance is about operating from the point of clarity but sometimes this is not usually the case since you will find yourself doubting but you still keep on pushing regardless. Nina Mutegi the winner of the International Business Plan Competition shares what dominance means to her and how she got to do what she's doing now. For Nina Mutegi her story is not different. She shares that this wasn't her dream from the beginning. Having wanted to pursue a career in medicine but ending up doing nursing abroad kept her going for a while. Nina says that during this period she learned that she needed to work really hard to enjoy what everyone around her was enjoying. For some reason, this made it even better for her when she came back home and she understood how important it is to put in the work. Nina adds that getting into the family business came later on even though she didn't want to do it from the beginning. She believes that everything she went through previously was preparing her for something and that is what she is doing right now. Sometimes learning comes from making mistakes. Make those mistakes and let them be your learning point.

Taking dominance is all about fully understanding your niche and while at it doing it as per the will of God. Mrs. Ana Maria Lowry who is the President and CEO of ANP International says that for her the most important thing for her is to see her clients reach their full potential by maximizing everything they have. She adds that for her, her job is not always all about the money instead it is something she loves doing, and growing up in a household where her parents always helped people who were in need has played a major role in this.
Mrs. Ana Maria adds that for her to fully help a client she has to know them well. This helps her know the exact help to offer since they will have interacted on a personal level. For her challenges are what pushes her to do better because the truth is they will always be there. The question is how do you handle them. All you need to know is that when you do your best and put your faith in God then you will always have the courage to rise above anything that happens in your business.

Taking Dominance is important especially when it comes to running a business or even building it. It involves knowing your craft and knowing what to do at what point. Mr. John Thiongo, a fierce entrepreneur, shares that one requires the spirit of a lion when it comes to building. He adds that for him he understood this and that is why somewhere along the way, he brought in people to help him because he was having a tough start. Running a business requires a combined effort and Mr. Thiongo says that for him the effort he knew would come through was that from his wife. This is because they had a common ground and the business was an extension of their ministry. Times have been tough and it is even tougher for them in the hospitality industry but then through it, all this pandemic hasn't put him down instead he got motivated from everything that is happening. It has been a season of learning and relearning and deep down he believes that everything that is happening to their business will impact it positively.

Innovation facilitates business growth and it challenges you to do more but at the same time seeking guidance from God. AI Caperna who is the Chief Servant Officer of CMC Group, shares that during the early days of their marriage, they focused on what God was doing in the life of each of them. This helped them a great deal since they realized that it is not always about yourself, you need to focus on the other person, this helps a great deal. When doing business with your partner, always work as a unit because God always works things out of agreement therefore, you have to be in constant agreement with your partner. A couple of businesses need a lot of work and combined efforts to better the more united you are. When you decide to innovate, have in mind that there are risks involved and sometimes your idea may not work and that is okay. Seek guidance from the holy spirit since all creativity comes from God and knows what will be needed in the future. You may not believe it but then simple things can be part of the solution when you are innovating. One thing you have to make sure though is that the people you bring on board to help you with your idea fully understand and you are on the same page. This is important because if the idea doesn't bring unity then it's not meant for your organization.

One of the aims of Nehemiah E-community is to build communities around the region and help bring the desired change. For change to be made it is important to link arms with people and create a common goal then work towards it. This will help bring back sanity to the marketing space.
Haiti center spearheaded by Pastor Edner Jeanty is another evidence that this community wants the best for the people and all it wants is to see progress and have many people come together to do business God's way. Pastor Jeanty says that as much as Haiti is known to get a lot of aid, people in the grassroots are suffering. He adds that it is important to get to a point where people have sustainable jobs and are able to create wealth. The people in Haiti are already aware of the challenges they go through and as people look at sending aid to them, involve them in the process so that they are able to highlight the key areas.
Most people send in aid not knowing that through that the local market is slowly being killed since entrepreneurs won't get anything because people are being handed down stuff. As a community that aims at building and nurturing kingdom entrepreneurs, how about we give them aid but provide solutions at the same time to issues that affect them. Whenever you want to provide aid, aim at asking the rarely asked questions to be able to know the kind of aid that you are bringing in is impactful.
Discovering your purpose is key as you walk through this life and even as you look at starting your entrepreneurial journey because they are tied. Mr. Joseph Hunt from Real Life Academy shares his journey towards discovering his purpose and how he ended being a Kingdom entrepreneur. He adds that for him, this didn't come easy since he had had a business with his brother before and they had splitter. Mr. Hunt believes that for everyone, God has a vision for them and in most cases, it is bigger all you have to do is seek his guidance and mentorship. The Real-Life Academy is all about helping individuals fulfill their destiny in soul body and spirit. In the process, it aims to help people rise up to their full potential and live a truly fulfilling life. At times you may have self-doubt and if at all you will get clients since the path you have taken is different. Best believe the right clients will find you because once your purpose and yours align then that's it. Let them know from the beginning the why and goal of your business then you will be good to go.
Biblical entrepreneurship essentials are important especially when it comes to doing business God's way. The times we are living in hasn't made it easier but the truth is God has a plan for everyone who has submitted everything to him. Mark Brown who is the founder of New Life SDA church says that doing business doesn't mean that you have to do it the world's way. There is an opportunity to do business as per what the Kingdom of God wants. This is why in their church they have life groups in which they come together with entrepreneurs to pray, learn and encourage each other to do better. Mr. Brown says that Christianity is not a one-time thing, instead, it is something we have to practice consistently and incorporate into our daily lives. Because of this, he saw the need to start digital evangelism to basically reach people from all over the world and pray with them because the truth is we all need it. He adds that despite churches opening soon, the digital ministry will live on and continue to serve its purpose. Covid might have thrown people off balance but Mr. Brown says he believes that there is God's message in the whole thing and all we have to do is to listen and let God be God in our lives.
Sometimes all you have to do is manage what God has given you and add value to it so that it benefits some or just you. Bishop Ed Smith founder of Zoe Association International shares that his goal was to create an impact in cities, countries around the world and he knew that there was no way he was going to do it on his own. For this to be to happen he collaborated with other churches around the world. In partnership with Nehemiah Project, they are working on this, and just to make it known that there is a lot of potential in African countries and a lot can come from them when they are given all the support they need. Even with the upcoming conference in July, BishopEd Smith states that it is for anyone looking to grow and in the process establish a cash flow in the process incorporate God's principles.
The works of the flesh have a huge impact on all that we do because these practices will determine if we inherit the Kingdom of God. Unlike religion where perfection is highly considered, the kingdom of God is all about God himself being perfect.
He is a forgiving God so when you repent your sins you start afresh. When you repent all the works of the flesh, trust that the Lord will allow you to see all the success that you deserve in your life and business.
Women entrepreneurs in South Africa are the backbone of any business. Entrepreneurship is about taking risks and women entrepreneurs have more courage and commitment than others to start a business. When women stand together as a group, they are bound for success. Ms. Linda Chikerema the founder of Ignite Africa says that she believes in building women and her main aim is to build a movement of women in Africa especially in regions that they are in. For Linda, she felt that there is a gap that needed to be filled despite everyone moving to digital platforms. She wanted to create something that could be read anywhere by anyone thus creating the magazine. Having stayed out of Zimbabwe for a long time, she believes it is important to go back to your home countries and implement all that knowledge gained from abroad and she urges people to try it. Doing business as per biblical principles may be hard but she believes that it can happen despite it being new in the region. The aim is to amplify the voice of God, while at it change lives and help people earn a living.

Living victoriously as an individual requires you to focus on being whole because it is only then that God can pour into you.
Michelle Thompson shares that her upbringing has a hand in how she views or does things. This is because she learned at an early age that she had goals to achieve and that there was a need to work hard towards them.
Her book Table for one lays everything bare and urges each one that there is a need to establish a relationship with God first then you can spread it to others. She adds that even for singles work on yourself and be where God wants you to be because God has a way of letting people meet in his own time.
Biblical and secular entrepreneurship have outstanding differences. Business owners, ought to know which side they are on as per the values of your business.
In most cases, people get attracted by what they can physically see because they are seeing the benefits. This shouldn't be the case though because you will go in not knowing much.
It is better to have little that is righteous than a whole lot that isn't. As a kingdom business owner, let this be your conviction.
Remember that if you choose to envy an oppressor, you are bound to choose their ways.
Chief Servant Officer Patrice Tsague connects with another visionary of the marketplace, business men who's work impact and shaped current business trend. They will discuss the actions put in place to create 100K Jobs and elaborate on the tendencies in our nations economy. On the Nehemiah Project International New series on Job Creation through Entrepreneurship.
Victory in the Midst of Trials Victory amid trial is all about having a mindset that no matter what you are through, joy will always come in the morning. As an entrepreneur trial will come your way and this shouldn't hold you back.
Instead, be grateful because this happens to everyone and those who you look at and feel like they are successful, they too have gone through all these trials.
Trials are meant to prepare you for what is yet to come. Also, the kind of wisdom that you get during these times sharpens your view on everything. Remember to always lean on God despite how hard the situation is and through it rejoice, give thanks, and pray always because great triumph always comes at the end.

Upscaling Kenya through furniture rental is one of the greatest things that can happen to anyone who is looking at moving to Kenya or just visiting for a while. Colleta Odero is the brains behind this amazing venture based in Nairobi Kenya. She always knew she wanted to do business but she didn't know how or where to start. She adds that hanging out with various people helped her make her next move as an entrepreneur. For Colleta this upscaling business may look like the work of her hands which is not the case. She owes her success to the biblical entrepreneurship program. The program helped her identify her purpose. It is possible to do business God's way, find your purpose and with that, every other thing will fall into place since God will be at the center of it.

The Triple Threat of the Enemy
The triple threat of the enemy is about living knowing that the enemy is always out there and that you need to be prepared. The enemy is always in pursuit and he always uses tactics that never change. These are the lust of the eyes, ears, and flesh. To avoid these tactics all you have to know is how you are going to deal with them. The only way is to know how the enemy operates and this can only be done when you fully understand the word of God. Deal with the things that are inside of you since it is only then that you can start dealing with any other thing. If you do not deal with these things inside of you, then success will lead you to your fall.

The Spirit of Innovation | Saying Yes Together Part 2 The Spirit of Innovation and saying yes together go hand in hand especially when it comes to families building businesses. Mr. and Mrs. Caperna says that God always has a plan for the children he gives you. Let them grow as per God's plan not your plan. When you train your children well, you'll never be afraid of releasing them to the world. The couple shared that they both accepted that their children wanted to chase different things. Despite this, they still gave them all their support. In family businesses, allow everyone to do their thing and work on giving the business a strong foundation. With this, there will always be a place to come back to and add value.

Seek to Complete rather than Compete Seek to complete rather than compete. When you do this, you are bound to achieve greater things. God created us in a way that there is always enough.
As women, our aim should always be to come together instead of competing. First, make sure that you fully understand the calling that God has for you. Usually, when you are doing what you are called for, there is no room for competing.
Never be worried that someone is getting more. Everyone has a portion and it is only God who can tell when it is enough for you. Remember, when we dwell in unity, we will be working towards one purpose.

Kingdom business is God's business managed God's way by God's stewards for God's purpose on earth. For a business to be called Kingdom Business, it has to be solving the problems in the world. Also, it has to be focusing being customer service-driven other than profit-driven. Patrice Tsague points out some of the conditions in his book and he says that a Kingdom business has to be managed by biblical principles, it has to be all about the people and not you. Do not be a stumbling block, instead be an opportunity for people to come and know God.

Confirming your purpose through Identity & Destiny
Confirming your purpose through identity and destiny is key. Most of the time people struggle with this. Mildred Molina went through this training to learn about her purpose and she even brought her daughter along. She says she's teaching her daughter to be a prayer warrior and mentions that this will be important to our youths too. Introducing your children to prayer at an early age is important because they grow knowing their purpose according to God. She adds that it is okay to be afraid but always remember to do it afraid. Identity and purpose is all about being in comfort with your ethnicity and culture.

Entrepreneurship is all about creating time and being intentional about everything that you do. A business owner's priority is measured by where they spend their time. Balancing business with family can be a challenge and Pastor Mark says, for him, he had to create a schedule and allocate time for his family.
In Entrepreneurship, challenges will be faced. During those challenges, do not be afraid since God is working for your good. Let your focus be on God even in hard times.

The spirit of rivalry lives amongst us. The enemy works overtime to trigger the spirit of rivalry in you. Once or more in our lives, we have experienced rivalry. Often, we compare ourselves to others not knowing what exactly they went through to be where they are. Focus on yourself and what God has given you. As women in business, strive to help each other, merge your skills this does go a long way.
Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. - Psalm 37:3-4

Every black founder's dream is to make history and that their work makes it to the list of start-ups that are changing lives.
The key to being a great entrepreneur is to have great character because what you do when you are alone matters and tells the kind of person you are. Being an entrepreneur, therefore, means that you wake up every day and you choose to win despite how you feel, at the end of the day, the goal is to make history.
God has a purpose for wealth and he always wants the best for each one of us. On the other hand, we have to embrace his purpose for everything to fall into place. Some days are going to be tough, instead, wake up and choose to rise above everything and make that day the day you change your life.

When it comes to health and longevity secrets, the trick is in what you put in your body. Bodies are temples that need all the nurturing.
Women in business rarely pay attention to their health instead, all they do is give to make sure everything around them grows. Businesses are important but so are our bodies. Always find time to get that alone time with God to allow you re-center and focus.
Since bodies are temples, be conscious of what you put in your temples. Dr. Clarke emphasizes how important it is to protect your most important assets and in this case, that asset is your health.

As an entrepreneur, you will constantly find yourself in jammed keyholes but what matters is how you come out on the other side. Sometimes God is trying to see if He can trust you.
Mr. Art Ally talks about his experiences in jammed keyholes and acknowledges that hope is what made him make it to the other side. When some doors get shut, be keen to listen sometimes it is God leading you somewhere and the best way to do it is by jamming keyholes.
In your entrepreneurial journey, keyholes might be constantly jammed but please listen to God since you may be doing what he doesn’t want you to do. Hang in there; he will get you through everything as long as it is his will.

When it comes to building family bridges, embracing a growth mindset remains to be a huge factor in developing stable families.
One of the biggest regrets you can have in this life is not being able to spend enough time with your family.
In a family it is important to be there for your family members and especially to your children because it is at this young age that they do develop various values. In most cases they just want someone to sit and listen to everything that they are going to talk about. Family bridges therefore aim at bridging this particular gap by strengthening families but mainly focusing on young ones and hopefully make them purpose driven leaders of their generation.
Bethany and Alicia share their experiences how their younger years made it clear for them what they wanted to do in filling the gaps in entrepreneurial families. Alicia La Hoz mentioned that this particular project started in jails and hospitals because this is where the people were found and with time it did spread across the community. Mental health is key and to young people right now it is more real for them. This can be solved by homes just adopting the learning mentality to just understand young people better. Also, in families developing agency helps make a difference in the lives of those you love.
