Recent data says that third party candidates this election cycle are seeing the best numbers since Ross Perot in 1992, when the Independent candidate garnered about 19% of the popular vote.

And while it's unlikely any of these third-party candidates could be a serious contender for the presidency, they could shake up the makeup of the race nonetheless.
