Names play an important role in the Bible. While major characters such as Peter and Paul or Mary and Joseph, are named, minor characters are often not given a name. However, some minor characters are given names like Simon of Cyrene (who helped Jesus carry His cross), Zaccheus, the tax collector with whom Jesus ate dinner, and Barabbas, the criminal who won his release instead of Jesus. On Wednesday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, MBI Professor of Bible, Dr. James Coakley joins us to talk about the characters in the Bible given no name. This is just another way to freshen up our bible study!
