Isaac, a returned service man, has come home from the horror of Afghanistan to care for his father who has suffered a stroke, only to discover a brand new warzone. Paige (his Mum) is liberated from an oppressive and abusive marriage, his younger sibling, Max, has come out as transgender and together they’re on a crusade to smash the patriarchy to smithereens.
