The Devoted Disciples • Desire Jesus for Jesus • Motivated by the call of Jesus o Based on God’s love for me o To be with Jesus o To be sent out by the authority of Jesus • Focused on eternal urgency

To be fully devoted to Jesus, the Son of God, is to be with Jesus -- and to be sent out by Jesus with an eternal urgency

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:

• In what ways have you desired Jesus just for the “gifts” He can give to you?

• What are things that stand out for you between the crowd and the disciples that Jesus calls?

• How can we grow our desire for Jesus, instead of a desire for more of His “gifts?”

• How can we fully share the Gospel in a way that presents Jesus as the ultimate goal? (Colossians 1:15-23, 1:28, 1 Corinthians 1:23)

• How does being WITH Jesus help you share about Jesus?
