Overflowing joy is a fruit of The Spirit that is not influenced by pur circumstances or people's attitude.
You can not run the race successfully by your strength and understanding. You need the Spirit of God.
Time is far spent and the return of our Lord is at hand, we must check ourselves to be sure we are not lacking in any regard.

Nothing good comes easy, and prosperity cannot be attained only by prophetic utterances.
Over and over in the Bible He expressed how much we mean to Him and how He has handpicked us above all others that walk the surface of this world, what we should be very concerned about though, is if we accept this choosing.
If we are to stand out and take possession of this earth, become the heads, and be prosperous on this plain, we must be diligent in all we do.
And as an impartial and just God, do you think He will turn a blind eye to you willfully disobeying His word?
Through this parable, Christ emphasized the need to love our neighbours, and that our neighbour could be anyone closest to us who needs help, including our enemies.
As our Father, it is God's desire to direct His children on which way to go, He does not want us to engage in "trial and error" in order to get things right.
A careful study of this Jesus' teaching reveals that love for others was the underlying message. Through this message, Jesus was teaching us how to think about others and not just ourselves.
Man does not have the capacity to keep certain promises, only God is the surest covenant-keeper. He keeps His covenant from generation to generation, and He has never failed.
Concentrate on counting your blessings and you will have little time to count anything else.
Do you have breath? If yes, then you should be praising God. Praising God is what we were created for as God made us for His good pleasure.
To say that you are lucky would be downplaying or watering down God's love and power in you and denying Him the glory, knowing that He is for you, and that He is working things out for your good.
Signs and Wonders are an expression of the power of God. They are meant to be exercised by God's children to win souls for the Kingdom.
Waiting is one of the Christian virtues that every believer must engage in at various stages of their walk with God. Waiting is necessary in the love walk with God and a true believer cannot escape it, else they will remain stagnant in their growth.
As a believer that wants to end well, God must be in the picture so that He can direct your path. It saves you a lot when God is involved from the start, not midway, or at the end.
As a miracle waiting to happen, your first place of deployment is the waiting room. Listen and be blessed.
Disobedience is a weighty matter before God. For you to have a good relationship with the Father, obedience must be at the epicenter.
Self-control is the ability to control oneself, in particular one's emotions and desires, especially in difficult situations like what we are facing today.
The spirit of discernment is a gift of the Holy Spirit. You can only have the Holy Spirit when you give your life totally to God.
You may be going through a lot, and you cannot seem to wrap your head around all of it. I want to assure you that, if you are truly on the Lord's side, God means well for you.
Sometimes the challenges that we endure are allowed by God for His will to be done in our lives. So that we can focus and depend on Him.
You can trust in the Lord with all your heart, even about the minutest detail of your life. You can trust this God who cares to know the number of hairs on your head, One who has engraved you on the palm of His hands and says that you are the apple of His eyes.
A servant of God is both a child of God and a son of God. They are ministers of the Lord who bear burdens and execute assignments for the sake of the Kingdom.

Wisdom is the right use of knowledge. To know is not to be wise. Many men know a great deal and are all the greater fools for it.
A self-righteous person focuses on "self." A Christian can be self-righteous when the basis of their faith or being right comes from themselves and not from God who is the source of everything.

According to John 10:10, the activities of the thief are three-fold namely to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. But Jesus Christ has come so that we may have life, and have it more abundantly.
Arise and shine presupposes an instruction to one who is down-cast and in obscurity. This is an instruction from God and it shows that God is concerned about our image and general well-being on earth.
The words that we speak are seeds that we sow, they germinate and bring forth fruits. So, if you sow negative words, you will reap it's consequence. And if you sow positive words, you will reap its good fruits accordingly.
Positive thinking has the power of moving you from the place of impossibilities to possibilities, because any time you are faced with a challenge, you approach it with the "I can" mindset.
The heart is the core of who a man is. The heart is the seat of man's mind where thoughts take place and decisions are made. Thus, God says to us to guard our heart.
No one pours new wine into old wine skins, otherwise the wine will burst the skins and both the wine and the wine skins will be ruined.
Jesus was walking along when He saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned..." Jesus replied "Neither this man nor his parents sinned..."
Long-suffering implies a hardship being suffered and the ability of the one suffering to take the abuse without retaliating.
A good name refers to reputation and great riches refers to wealth. God admonishes us that a good name is much more valuable than money.
According to John Calvin, repentance is 'the true turning of our life to God, a turning that arises from a pure and earnest fear of Him; and it consists in the mortification of the flesh and the renewing of the spirit.'
Beloved, submission is an instruction...when we practice submission in our lives and relationships, we will reap benefits we least expect.
Your expectation no matter how genuine or big is little compared to what God has in mind for you. Interestingly, sometimes, your expectation is inconsequential to God. That is because God will do what He wants to do whether or not you believe it.

THIS THING CALLED LOVE is the relationship talk show of Fomeprays. It is aimed at spreading awareness on what love truly is and correct wrong expectations or perspectives on the subject of love. The first edition was held in 2021, and it featured four outstanding young adults.
In this year's edition, we had a conversation about relationships with two unmarried individuals and two married couples. They shared with us issues such as why ladies reject a marriage proposal, some wrong perceptions young people have about love, boundaries that should exist in a relationship and how they can be enforced, mistakes young couples make in the early years of their marriage and so on!

The scripture admonishes us to lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily besets us.

Among other things, we need the spirit of discernment to enable us to identify and avoid false prophets.
Upon adoption, the adopted child has equal rights over the possessions of the adoptive parent.

God’s presence is not limited by space and time. It is an atmosphere, a strong feeling and a powerful force.

Just like other spiritual gifts, the gift of teaching is given by God, and it cannot be bought or earned.
A weight is a burden or intangible force that slows you down. It is something you can do without but you somehow take along.
Flattery means excessive praise or approval which is often insincere. Psalm 12:2 describes it thus: “They speak deceitful and worthless words to one another; With flattering lips and a double heart they speak".
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, Ephesians 3:20 NKJV

Nothing is permanent in life, everything is subject to change. The challenges of life are not permanent; they are temporary. Your current situation is not your permanent destination.

As a Christian, no matter the battles and tribulations that come our way, victory is our portion because Jesus Christ lives. If you are yet to be saved, accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour today.
Beloved, you don't fight spiritual battles with physical weapons. Even when physical weapons are used for physical combat, such battles are not fought haphazardly but with strategy. As a Christian, you should be an ambassador of peace, reconciling men back to God and restoring broken relationships.

When we are in a position where we can’t help or speak for ourself, the goodwill/prayers of others whom we have helped will be our lifeline. Examine your life today. When you meet people, change jobs, relocate and pass on, what will you be remembered for?
Virtually, everything under the sun is subject to analysis and is susceptible to compromise. But there is one thing that cannot be debated, challenged or compromised, that is the word of God.
If not for God's grace, the whole of humanity would have been wiped out by now just like the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, but mercy says "no"...let them live, let them grow, maybe they will repent, maybe they will become saved.

Much of hip hop music, rock music and music videos suggest sexual activity, partial or complete nudity, filthy language and promotes materialism. Listening to such music and watching such videos each day stirs lust within us and when lust hath conceived it brings forth sin.

Some of us are just like Martha. We let our busy lives of service distract us from spending time with Jesus through the study of His word, meditation and prayer.
Often times, we set goals for ourselves and carefully organise our lives such that when we experience some delay, we get frustrated and backslide. While it is good to make plans and set goals, we must realise that God is the Master Planner. There is an appointed time for everything. You may be short of time in actualising your goals, but God is always right on time in bringing them to pass.
You can't ever find a friend like the lowly Jesus nor a father so caring like the Almighty God. As you build relationships this year and increase your network, ensure that you have a solid relationship with God.
