The victorious Christian knows what Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, has accomplished for them on the cross. To be victorious, they purpose not to trust their emotions or circumstances, but trust in the living God. The victorious Christian walks by faith and not by sight. They live and abide according to God’s word. They have the inner confidence that overcomes discouragement, doubt and unbelief. The victorious Christian has a deep assurance that God is in control and has an inner knowing in their spirit that all things are working together for their good. They can make this declaration “It Is Well With My Soul “without wavering during challenging times.
