If they don't ask, stop giving your advice away so freely. Some people just want to be heard. If you are a good listener, be just that. Sometimes we can give too much with little in return. When a person needs assistance they will ask for help or guidance in a particular situation. Listens I give a simplistic perspective to this topic.
