This is the episode that finally just goes for it. Has Amanda hit bottom? Maybe. But Eve might have it even worse – and that’s for the best! Plus, Ryan makes a decision about Megan and Lexi finds herself in a very compromised position. We also have an important Yom Kippur chat at the top that should not be missed.
Everyone starts to reveal their true colors as we hurtle towards the series finale. Amanda continues to pimp Eve out, Ryan must deal with Terry face to face, Lexi continues her sabotage, Kyle makes a move, and Jane gets a new job doing…we’re not sure what.

Perhaps they shouldn’t have called this one “As Bad As It Gets.” Amanda’s saving to buy a house, Jane returns, Coop disappoints, Billy gets a fax, and Sam remains the worst. They’re all victims of bad storylines, and we’re witnesses to the crime.
How to wrap up a year that’s been one big old tin foil ball of suck? Bring back a favorite! This episode sees some whack behavior but it also gives us the return of Jane! And a brief glimpse of future Hallmark and “Supernatural” star David Haydn-Jones. Happy new year!

You know life is weird when Billy has become a favorite character. Amid a sea of bad storylines, we learn more about “Christine” and Michael finds a windfall. But the star of the episode is…haircuts. Plus, a “Melrose” reunion on the “Fantasy Island” reboot!
The men of “Melrose” are terrible! And all of the women are pretty much sidelined! Doug keeps Karen guessing about the one storyline he really liked here – and no, it probably doesn’t have to do with Christine.
We said yes to this double episode, and there’s a lot wrong with it. Christine comes to town and mucks everything up, Sam can’t stop flirting, Michael makes another bad decision, and Lexi is horrible! Oh, and it’s Amanda and Kyle’s wedding day! We also discuss cheap wedding food and why saying no is a good thing.
The late, great Valerie Harper shows up as Mamma Mancini! Thomas Calabro directs this episode, which also includes an ever-dumber Kyle, trouble in paradise for Billy and Sam, and a tone-deaf reaction to Craig’s death.
Amanda’s got legs…and she knows how to use them! Taylor prods Nick for dirt on Christine, Kyle sleeps in every possible bed he can, Sam has quite an arm on her, Mr. Sterling does not like Peter, Michael has a handful with Amber, and sayonara, Craig.
Melrose heads to Desert Storm, plus Michael makes moves and we’re subjected to a silly bait-and-switch.
We find out the fate of Amanda, in case you were worried. And while all of these plotlines need CPR, in more important news, Karen actually traveled to the block!
Taylor and Kyle head to Vegas, Lexi takes in a new houseguest, Billy has a birthday with invisible friends, Charlie comes to visit Connie, Michael finally gets what’s coming to him, and Amanda better watch her back.
It’s Christmas in July here on the block as Thomas Calabro directs a holiday-themed episode. It’s a mixed bag of heavy-handed scenes and some cute moments that allow the characters to breathe. Plus, a special appearance by Jon Secada (remember him?).
There’s a whole lot of Lexi going on in this episode. And we say more Coop and less Craig and Connie.
Kyle is utterly vile, and it is character assassination. Will Michael ever learn Megan’s favorite song? Meanwhile, Connie’s MO seems to change horses mid-stream. (“Wag the Dog” throwback included in this podcast!)
Does this episode have the worst wedding ever? Could be. Also, a lot of empowered Kyle stalking off goes an even longer way.
Eric continues to dangle his indecent proposal in front of Amanda as Kyle's world collapses, Billy has a bachelor party, and someone get Mrs. Shaw away from Wilshire Memorial, STAT!
Is Kimberly Shaw possibly back from the dead…again? This episode gives us some Dynasty-level shenanigans, tan hands, and minions. We also start off with some real-world thoughts. In short: people be crazy.
It took some explaining, but Karen really helps Doug come around (a leeeeeeetle bit) on this episode. But this episode does have Amanda ask Billy (!) for relationship advice and features a Mentos commercial-style ending.
The Billy-Sam storyline is not what you think – it’s worse! Meanwhile, Taylor takes the fall but gets the upper hand. And speaking of hands, Michael embarks on a new endeavor.
Craig gets a surprise visitor, Michael can't shake Taylor, Megan becomes a great sleuth, and Billy goes crabbing.
We get dueling monologues with this lazy episode. We also get some consolidated storylines, a black eye for Andrew Shue, some rape-y vibes for Taylor, and an introduction to Lexi Sterling. Plus, postmortem glossies for Kimberly!
There are several tiers of actors this season, and we separate the wheat from the mush-mouthed chaff. But Thomas Calabro has some great lines!
This episode has the good, the bad, and the ugly. Let’s give it credit for starting strong, but some of our players (David Charvet, Brooke Langton) are not up to par. But all hail Thomas Calabro!

This is a rock-solid episode. Syd makes a wrong decision and it feels oh so right. Plus we get our first glimpse of the great Nancy Lee Grahn.
Surprise! We flipped our intended "Melrose" podcast into a "Hollywood Boulevard" broadcast, complete with commentary on the coup, a discussion on modern critics, and reviews of "Pieces of a Woman" and " Hillbilly Elegy."
This is the best episode of the season! Allison eavesdrops, Amanda gets sloppy, Syd screws up, and Michael gets sassed. What's not to love?

We find out if Brooke’s suicide attempt was successful, Kimberly finds a new way to make Matt’s life hell, Amanda must choose between Bobby and Peter, and Jane’s situation does not get any easier. But the MVP of this one is Sydney (again)!

Jack puts Amanda in an uncomfortable position, but she’s able to return the favor – an event that forces her to lean on Peter and open up to Michael. Brooke’s scheming continues, Jake and Jo go to the Rose Bowl, Kimberly learns news both good and bad, and no one cares about Matt’s dead dad.
Amanda throws a party to celebrate surviving the bombing, and Kimberly shows up! And so does Jack! And Hayley comes to Melrose Place too! But Matt is scarcely there, dealing with another sad storyline. Also, can I blame my computer problems on Kimberly? Oy.
