*) Trump returns to White House after a three-night stay in hospital

US President Donald Trump is back at the White House after being discharged from the hospital for coronavirus.

Trump, diagnosed with the virus on Thursday, hasn't had a fever in more than 72 hours and his oxygen levels are normal.

Don't be afraid of Covid-19, Trump said after his return from the hospital about the disease that has killed more than 209,000 people in the US.

*) Early voting in the US is set to begin in New Mexico and Ohio

In the US, early voting for the 2020 presidential election is set to begin in New Mexico and swing state Ohio.

Voters can cast their ballots in-person at county elections offices and other locations ahead of the November 3 election.

This comes a day after California and Idaho opened their polls and already more than 28 million ballots have been requested.

*) Amidst allegations of vote rigging in Kyrgyzstan, angry protestors free former president

Rioters in Kyrgyzstan have freed ex-president Almazbek Atambayev from prison, while protesting the results of a parliamentary election.

They've occupied the presidential palace and parliament buildings in the capital, Bishkek, over allegations of vote-rigging in Sunday's election.

Only four parties out of 16 passed the seven percent threshold for entry into parliament, and three of them have close ties to President Sooronbay Jeenbekov.

*) NATO calls on Azerbaijan and Armenia to cease fire

NATO has urged Azerbaijan and Armenia to agree on an unconditional ceasefire as the conflict in the Nagorno-Karabakh region spreads.

The two countries accuse each other of attacking civilian areas with dozens killed or injured.

Turkey labelled Armenia's attacks on Azerbaijan "war crimes" as rocket and missile strikes target densely populated Azerbaijani cities.

Human Rights Watch has reported that hundreds of thousands of men, women and children with mental health conditions are living chained up in roughly 60 countries.

Without support or awareness, families or institutions often shackle people against their will, leaving them in a small space.

Leading up to World Mental Health Day on October 10, the report focuses on almost 800 interviews with people suffering from psychosocial disabilities in countries like China, Nigeria and Mexico.
