A Year in HebrewsIn the beginning of chapter 2 we find the first warning in the book of Hebrews. While different translations phrase it differently, it can be summed up with the statement "Pay Close Attention."The writer pleads with the readers to make sure they keep their focus on the message of Jesus Christ.In this message, we will look at what challenged them, and also, what challenges us today in keeping our focus on Him.
We don’t just stand in need of help; we need a Savior.If the believers at the time of Hebrews needed help only, the angels would have been fine. But more was required; they needed Jesus. Seeking help is not wrong, it’s the opposite; it serves to aide us. But placing our complete hope in a source of help is hope misplaced.We need a Savior, one who is the very source of both help and hope.God calls us unto Himself. His Presence is our destination. He brings us out to bring us in.
The battle for truth begins in our own heart. We can look at so many other sources that challenge Biblical truth. And, let’s be honest; that’s what they’re supposed to do and what they have always done. Ex: 1 Corinthians 2:14A deeper, far more divisive reality is that outside sources are not nearly as large of a threat as the battle of flesh & Spirit that is waging in our own hearts. Ex: Jeremiah 17:9If we are unwilling to allow our revelation of truth to be challenged in greater depth by his word, the source of all truth, then we will inevitably find ourselves sitting on the throne of our lives instead of him. When we set upon the throne of our lives , then we will manipulate, and recruit those to be around us, who agree with us, while working in this unity to push those do not agree with us away.

Today, we look at Exodus 6 and God's response to the claim Moses made of Him being at fault for the situation Israel is in.
In this message we continue our year long look at the book of Exodus, we focus on chapter 4. In this passage we review the 3 signs God gives to Moses and look at the importance of obedience in our relationship with Him.
In this, the 5th message in our year long look at the book of Exodus, we focus on chapter 3. In this passage we review 1 of the main themes that we see in this book, as well as making observations, and attributes of God's nature that we learn in this chapter as God speaks.
In week three of our Exodus study, we see the birth of the deliverer of the Hebrew people, Moses. The events of his birth, young life and his fleeing from Egyptian royalty teaches us not only about the nature of God in greater detail, but also reveals our tendencies and nature as well.
As we begin to dig into the book of Exodus in this message, we quickly see a conflict. And not necessarily a conflict between Egypt and the Hebrew people, but one of God's plans, and our idea of how they should play out. This message takes a look at we can face in the waiting of His plans to be fulfilled.

In His mercy, God redeems all who come to Him for forgiveness. He offers us this great gift not because of anything we have done, but because of what Christ accomplished on the cross. Beginning a series of studies on how we can Grow Together, we look to Paul’s opening entreaty in Romans 12 to discover what it means to respond to God’s extravagant grace by going “all in” for Christ.

Before the foundations of the earth, God chose us, the Church, to live as instruments of His grace to a lost and dying world, bearing witness to His wisdom and power through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Since He is our ultimate joy, peace and pleasure, we seek to know Him and fill ourselves with those things that stir our affections for Him. We practice spiritual disciplines so that our hearts might stay in rhythm with His.
As ambassadors of Christ, we are to be instruments of grace as we confront sin and extend forgiveness. We always forgive from our hearts when we are sinned against by handing offenses over to God.
As those forgiven by God, we can humbly approach those who have been affected by our sin and make amends. This change of heart brings glory to God by demonstrating the power of the gospel and reflecting the heart of God.
We renounce our former ways, offer ourselves to God, and under His grace, ask Him to deliver and heal us by the authority of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit

In our fear and anxiety, the call is to cry out to him, to trust him and run to promise of redemption found in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus
Beyond works alone, God looks deeper to the desires and motivations of the heart. Only through the gospel will God align our hearts with His purposes.
We cannot overcome sin without God, but He has provided the way to overcome sin through the gospel of Jesus Christ. In Christ, we show His supremacy and victory over evil as we arise over sin, shame and even death.
Now as children of God, filled with the Holy Spirit, and standing firm in the gospel, we engage in the spiritual battle over the reign and rule of our hearts.

In response to the Holy Spirit revealing our desperate and helpless condition before God and providing the living hope that comes through the resurrecting power of Jesus Christ, we step out in faith and repent as act of worship and obedience, entrusting our lives to Christ.
God lovingly intervenes into our chaos by providing an answer for sin and provides the way back into fellowship with Him. We came to believe that, by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, we can be redeemed.
Man has fallen from a place of dignity, humility and dependence to a state of depravity, pride and rebellion. Apart from Christ, we are powerless to overcome sin, and our attempts to control it only increase our chaos.

Pastor Ben moves away from the book of Daniel this week and speaks from the book of Psalm and how God gives us instructions through the life of David of how to live during difficult times.
Daniel 4 details the second dream of the king that is interpreted by Daniel. Through warnings of consequences the king still finds himself paying the price for pride and arrogance in his heart.
This week, we look at the passage of scripture where the young Hebrew boys find themselves in the fiery furnace.
We look at the first part of chapter 3 in the book of Daniel and the call of the king to worship the idol on the plain of Dura.
We dive into chapter 2 of the book of Daniel this week. Looking at the kings dream, and the interpretation.
