A Texas man who went on the run on Christmas Eve, after allegedly murdering his girlfriend, was shot and killed by law enforcement officers in Houston.

In Indiana, a mother was sentenced to seven years in prison for injecting fecal material into her son’s IV bag, while the teen was being treated for cancer.
