Well well well...

Spring is here and the air smells beautiful! Ah, the scent of change; the scent of growth; of promise; possibility; the providence of nature and its abundant bounty. Excitement and love.

But, more importantly, it's also that time of year when all the hot girls come back out of the woodwork wearing gratifyingly revealing beachware at the first glimpse of sunlight; people optimistically arrange wholesome BBQs which are swiftly cancelled in favour of a generic piss-up; and preppy student boys get their tragic little flip-flops (not a euphamism) and gay pedal-pushers out for us all to smirk at and congratulate ourselves on our superior coolness (for the third year in a row - please, it's OVER - deal!).

So, what better time to start my new blog?

So what is the FiveDollarShake blog 'about'?

Ostensibly a repository for muchos pop culture commentary, shiznit about post-youth culture (not post -youth-culture, you dick!) and other such pseudo-highbrow malarky masquerading as a nutritious yet tasty mulch of soul-fodder/brain candy for pipsters and nipsters, I expect my half-arsedness and juvenility(?) shall precipitate a swift and near-immediate degeneration into merely posting links to funny/crude stuff to distract you from your daily productive/spiritcrushing travails, flagging up decent new tunes on other better blogs and arguing about what new music is cool/shit and why some people are dbags for not liking 'cooler' (i.e. 'what I like') stuffs. breathes again* That and general slander.
