The Destiny 2 Beyond Light armor has not evolved much in the way of Armor 2.0 or armor mods. A recent blog from Bungie's assistant game directory Joe Blackburn indicates that both transmog and armor novelty will be coming to drive more players to chase armor in Destiny 2.
