work hard and have big dreams Popular quotes like “Work hard and be nice,” “Nothing worth having comes easy” are still abundant today. Many successful people describe discipline, hard work, and being calm and nice as factors that enable them to succeed in the world. Concepts of “hard work” were the norm, but now there's the concept of “work smart, not hard.”
As a result, it gained a lot of interest because it conveyed hard work as work that required no thought. It is, however, worth noting that both ideas are similar, as they are centered on making progress in life by going above and beyond what is normal. There was never any truth to the rumor that hard work was the opposite of logical work; it was only an expression of dedication towards whatever activity is underway. Though they're no longer useful, why do we need them? Why must we make things difficult?
There should be an ease in accomplishing a task, shouldn't there? The reason we do things the hard way is because we've never learned how to do them in the first place. Even if that is how it appears, it should be perceived as favorable. What I'm getting at is instead of encouraging the younger generation to view hard work as a source of pride, why don't we foster a culture of working enthusiastically?
Work should be joyful, filled with love, and not full of struggle. It's said that people today whine because they are too busy with their work or job to take care of themselves. A lot of their energy is consumed with work. If we analyze the modern work routine very closely, we can see that people today are much more concerned than busy. They are mentally or emotionally focused on their thoughts and feelings. Since they are more concerned with the what to do, they spend less time on the what needs to be done. They believe they are battling it, but they are actually fighting with themselves.
What is often missed is that nothing on this planet can make us happy, unless we are making ourselves happy. Happiness does not depend on who you are or what you have; it depends solely on your mental attitude. True happiness is the only path. We are made for the express purpose of learning how peace is the ultimate goal of life, though all undertakings can be accomplished with peace. What I believe has resulted from failing to comprehend the meaning of life is the concept of “work-life balance.”
When we talk about work-life balance, we somehow feel that work is important, but that it is more important to have a healthy life alongside that. Why do we not appreciate work? That's a part of life, isn't it? It is estimated that, on average, the average person spends approximately 50% of his or her waking hours working. This definition of life and work means that we are always waiting for the weekend to arrive like we are waiting for our work to end. Be conscious and aware of your current activities, and you will only pursue activities that are most critical at the moment.
I can only assume that you'll be in "present tense" and stop using "past and future tense." Once this is accomplished, motivation and no-nonsense discipline will be all that is required to perform any task. The world will be a better place if everyone becomes conscious of their actions.
