Immanent and Transcendent Energy

Short Summary: The purpose of the internal energy (pnimn) is to serve existence: the emotional sefirot are needed for creation; the intellectual ones bring about revelation. However the transcendent energy (makif) does not serve any purpose other than reflecting its source.
