Anwaar AlMahmeed is the co-founder of the East Chain Co., an investment firm established in 2017 with the goal of investing in, developing, and implementing blockchain technology and other technology related to the digital assets space. She is the lead organizer of The East Chain Open Hub (ECOH) conference, which first convened in Kuwait in May 2018 with a focus on gathering people from around the world to discuss exciting new opportunities offered by distributed technologies, as well as its risks and regulation.
