Praying the Daily Office – Some of us wonder if prayer actually ‘works’. Some of us feel inadequate when it comes to prayer. We’ve picked up a mentality that prayer is only for the spiritually elite, and since we know we don’t belong in that class, we don’t do it. Sunday Teams are a vital part of making Sunday gatherings work. Without people who are generous with their time and talent, these gatherings would not be possible. Groups are where we practice the way of Jesus together! Groups are an integral part of our church life. They are a level of community we surrender into. In groups we intentionally set aside our consumerism (what I want and what is convenient for me) for what God wants, and the needs of others.
