Think about where you would be if someone had not given you a second chance! Every person has faults and flaws. No matter how hard we try at some point we are going to fail. If we are lucky, the failure is not life altering, a mistake at work, or losing a job, losing your temper to a loved one or friend, or being stopped for speeding. Often receiving a second chance can be as simple as a sincere apology, some additional training or showing remorse and respect the police officer or judge. We find another job. Our loved one forgives us and we can continue to drive. Think of a time where your mistakes could have had a more serious consequence. The time you drove drunk. The time when you had to defend yourself or a friend at party that got out of hand, or simply the time you were at the wrong place at the wrong time. I am willing to bet we have all been there. What if someone had gotten hurt or worse? What if this mistake found us arrested or put in jail. Everyone desires a second chance.
