Sideshow the tiefling rogue is being held prisoner by his employer, the Cirque Lunaire. While most of the troupe's income is earned by his presence alone, they treat him as a pariah, locking him up in a cage with a palladium collar around his neck to diminish his magics. 

Following their most recent performance, a new bard has joined their troupe. Sideshow can tell that he is not all that he seems, however, and he is hiding some secret magics as well.
