Grief is a big emotion. So is worry, anxiety, fear, frustration, excitement...
And big emotions need big strategies.
Problem is, we develop many of our strategies around these emotions from an early age, but as adults they fail us. Tantrums, for example, they are far less effective at age 40 than they are at age 10, but that doesn't mean we don't feel like throwing them still.
But what if that was ok? If we embraced our big emotions, and gave ourselves the chance to understand what they are and why we feel them before they get to the explosive stage.
In this episode of Reframe of Mind, Director of Positive Minds Australia, Madhavi Nawana Parker helps us to heal our inner child, rebuild our emotional foundations, understand emotional intelligence, and unlearn as a generation. And Louise and Andy share their personal stories of dealing with big emotions when they've been experiencing grief (spoiler: it's not always well!).
