The state government has announced a more flexible form of land tenure, which will unlock millions of hectares of land for renewable and diversification projects. The proposed changes, to the Land Administration Act, will see WA better placed to expand carbon farming, wind farms, solar energy and hydrogen production on pastoral and unallocated crown land. It will also open opportunities for horticulture and tourism projects.
