The apostle Paul, in speaking of his Christian walk, spoke of leaving the past behind and pressing forward toward the goal of becoming like Christ. The concept of forgetting the wrong acts we committed and getting to the place where their memory has no power over us is indeed daunting. Pastor Mark will be teaching about the ability of God to do anything. That includes making us able to recognize that the power of sin over us has been demolished by Jesus’ death on the cross. In the same way that God sees us as if we’d never sinned, sin’s power over us has been wiped away.
