Have you ever had to go to a neighbor’s house in the middle of the night because of an emergency? You’re filled with dread – what if they don’t help me? What will I do then? Pastor Mark will be teaching from the book of Luke, relating a story Jesus told the disciples to illustrate the difference in attitude between those around us and God the Father. Even though we know that God is much kinder than our neighbor, as awesome as they may be, it’s still difficult sometimes to ask God for things. We’ll be hearing in the message about the necessity to be persistent when we pray, too.
