It can be a trap for many believers, new or old...to sit too long in one place. You get comfortable in your faith, feel like you're giving enough, studying Scripture enough, attending church enough. But, if you're busy focusing on what you're FEELING, you're blocking the spirit from MOVING you. The point of following Jesus isn't to build our own comfortable life, but to let Him conform us to His likeness. Because it's all about HIM, and although being matured and stretched and molded may take us in a direction we may not have planned...we can never fully become the people He wants us to be if we are not fully submitted to His leading.
