Imagine a person who regularly begins project with a passion...but abandons them when they become difficult. They do this for years, and end up with a houseful of half-finished projects. They never become accomplished at anything, left with only good intentions. If you're treating your spiritual life the same way, be prepared to end up with a bunch of good intentions...and no results. When the Lord leads you to step up...in your home, with your friends, in your workplace...you may be excited at first. But at the first sign of rejection or difficulty, you bail. Seek the Lord for a right heart, which will spur you on to persevere and accomplish His goals.
