As believers in Christ, we live by the Word. It's vital to our lives, giving us everything we need to walk through this world as righteous people living for one thing...to serve the Lord. Believing parents want their children to know this same joy. But, they often neglect to communicate that the Word isn't just a book of rules or history, the Word IS God. If your children see you going to Scripture for answers, for guidance, seeking truth, hearing you read...they will begin a relationship with the Word before they can even read it for themselves. Pray with your children, read the Word with them, give them Scripture to guide them and it will manifest in their hearts.
