When we become born again, we're to leave the past behind. We're new creations. However, we're not to forget where we've come from...or what we've been delivered from. We need to consider that when dealing with other people. As Christians, we can't look DOWN upon the lost. We need to look at them with a heart of compassion. We need to love them with the same love that Jesus has for us. Now, that's not an easy task. It can't be done in the flesh. That's why we need Jesus. We need His grace to empower us to love like He does. We need His heart of understanding. We need His gentle and caring spirit to work in and through us.
