Though we often look to the new year to give us a reset, reboot or fresh start, the truth is a real fresh start is only found in Christ. The passing of time or the changing of the calendar year doesn't actually change the direction of our life unless we decide to shift our focus to Jesus. Make no mistake, this year can be incredible and God has great things in store, but it's often or reluctance or refusal to repent that causes us to miss out. If we want this year to be different, more than anything, it's a heart of repentance that will keep us aligned with God.
