This week in anguish:
The less said about the Canucks' week-long collapse, the better, so...
We waste no time in firing up the Wayback Machine. The Canucks are getting their second chance at their own airplane in 1991 (which leads to a discussion about the comparative difficulty of travel schedules), a once-ballyhooed 4th overall pick plays his first game in 2001 (which leads to a discussion of Mr. Juolevi, of course), and the Canucks weren't exactly a juggernaut by the time of the trade deadline in 2011 (which leads to a discussion of that tricky month of March).
You can tell we really want to avoid the on-ice events this week by the fact that we devote a good 20 minutes to discussing the murky history of Canucks mascots. Do you remember Lil' Red? The Canuck Duck? Prankster Bear? Well, it's all just a prelude to Tristan's marine biology presentation, anyhow.
