This week in anguish:

  • Is not actually just a 65 minute verbal description of Tristan's jersey design. But we certainly do talk about it. Look at it! It's so beautiful.

  • Jacob Markstrom's stellar game against Carolina has us thinking about the history of Canucks goalie coaches. It is both shallower and more murky than we expected.

  • We offer about two dozen rapid-fire yet eminently reasonable fixes to Canucks' game presentation. Greatest hits include #floattheblimp, #colourinthering, #ditchtheanthems, and other less hashtaggable suggestions.

  • The Time Machine brings us back to the brink of Eric Lindros ownership in 1990, to a fourth line consisting of only one actual forward in 2000, to Markus Naslund's much-needed last hurrah in 2010.

  • How Did We Not Know about the Viking Award?
