The serious drought in Utah has threatened farmland, livelihoods, wildlife, and Utah’s mountains and public lands and aggravated the risk of wildfires. This year’s statewide initiative to raise awareness of wildfire risk and prevention is called Fire Sense. In this week’s episode of Utah Weekly Forum, FM100.3 Host Rebecca Cressman is joined by Kait Webb, Statewide Prevention and Fire Communications Coordinator, who explains what common sense steps and simple precautions we can all take to reduce human caused fires in Utah.
