This “in conversation” episode is with the founder of MENOPAUSE CAFÉ events, Rachel Weiss. Rachel is a counsellor and coach and based the menopause-conversation cafes on the “death cafe” model which was already a success. These not-for-profit events help people talk about their experiences in a safe environment with the added bonus of coffee and cake! Rachel explains how the meet-ups, and now LOCKDOWN virtual meetings work, who they are for and why they are so helpful. There are over 400 events now across the world and an annual festival held in Perth, Scotland, Flush Fest 30th April- 1st May celebrating all things menopause.
