Scripture calls us to be vigilant against the temptations of the enemy. As Jesus warned Peter in Luke 22:32, we need to be on the lookout. Yet our confidence doesn’t rest on our own strength but in the great High Priest who intercedes for us (Hebrews 7:25). God’s people will persevere in faith until the end because Jesus says to us, "I am praying for you." And there is our hope.
