God’s love will always give us assurance that will always produce genuine gospel fruit.

1) God's Love gives us the Spirit who enables us to confess Jesus as the Son of God and abide in his love (vss. 13-16).

2) God's love gives us confidence on the day of Judgment that leads us to live in holiness (vss. 17-18).

3) God's love gives us the power to love others as we've been loved (vss. 19-21).
