What was the first moment that this pandemic hit you? Mine was the first time I walked into a restaurant to pick up a to-go order. Chairs on tables with a line straight up to cash register. I remember leaving with tears in my eyes at how different this situation was. 2 months later, we picked up from the same restaurant and it felt totally normal.
Have you experienced anything similar? Does it speak to our ability to adapt to the circumstances we never thought we could or would have to?
With these questions, I'm reminded of Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." Take heart, my friend. Though that battle you're facing may feel impossible, the Lord your God is with you always.
