The feeding of 5,000 is present in all four Gospels. Mark writes to use explaining how Jesus demonstrates compassion for a crowd. Through the miracle of the 5,000 we learn about the disciples' role, the importance of faith, and the lesson that ministry is not about the resources we have but about who we serve.
